  • Cooper and Manson (Photo: Frazer Harrison)By Jon Wiederhorn

Marilyn Manson and Alice Cooper may be tour mates on the Masters of Madness tour, but the two have very different approaches when it comes to delicate subject matter.

On June 6, Michael Jackson's daughter Paris reportedly attempted suicide with a kitchen knife after she was unable to get into the Masters of Madness show in Los Angeles. Her mother, Debbie Rowe, told "Entertainment Tonight" that Jackson was "rushed to the hospital with cuts on her wrists."

In response, Manson sarcastically announced "This song is for Paris Jackson," before his band launched into "Disposable Teens."

  • Taylor Swift backstage at the CMA Festival [Photo: Chris Willman]Taylor Swift went from being invited onto the Rolling Stones’ stage a few nights ago to inviting Tim McGraw and Keith Urban onto her stage Thursday night, which was as star-studded a way as any to kick off the CMA Festival’s four nights of stadium shows in Nashville.

The home of the Tennessee Titans played host to more than one match of the titans Thursday. Not long after Swift brought out McGraw and Urban as guests for their No. 1 single “Highway Don’t Care,” the Zac Brown band upped the collaborative ante by dueting with Kenny Rogers on “The Gambler” and Kid Rock on the Grand Funk oldie “We’re An American Band.”

Before performing “Highway Don’t Care” — which, on record, at least, is officially a McGraw track — Swift sang an acoustic verse and chorus of her first hit, “Tim McGraw.” Backstage, she talked about getting the call that completed the cycle from dreamy 16-year-old fan to McGraw’s fully fledged co-conspirator.

“Honestly, Tim and Faith (Hill) have both been some of the most

  • Burning Question: Is Beyoncé really giving away a spot on her style team? What kind of job would I get if I won? — Say Whut

Not so fast. This is Beyoncé; ergo, she is reportedly auctioning a spot on her style team, with the proceeds benefiting charity.

That said, yep, the prize really does appear to be a slot on Bey's style team. Sort of. The winner will get to hang out with Beyoncé's mom, designer Tina, in wardrobe, as well as make unspecified input into the singer's look, for an unspecified July 1 event tagged to the Mrs. Carter Show World Tour. (The prize package also comes with VIP tickets to a show.)

Whatever the charity auction winner gets to do, though, it probably won't even come close to the rigors of a real style team. Because if you knew what a real style team did on a tour like Beyoncé's, you wouldn't pay the estimated $25,000 value to do it.

In fact, if you were any good, you would charge. Maybe 10 times that.
