  • photo: Ben Pruchnie/WireImageThe ever-rotating "Voice USA" judging lineup has been in the news lately, but across the pond, the British version of the show stars a true vocal legend: iconic Welsh crooner Tom Jones. The Sex Bomb himself!

The other coaches on "The Voice U.K." are will.i.am, Jessie J, and Danny O'Donoghue of the Script — but Sir Tom, who's sold 100 million records over the course of the past six decades, brings a certain credible cool to the series.

  • George Strait’s new album Love Is Everything enters The Billboard 200 at #2, just behind Vampire Weekend’s Modern Vampires Of The City. It’s Strait’s 18th top 10 album, which puts him in the top five among male solo artists since 1955. The other four men who have reached this plateau constitute a veritable Mount Rushmore of pop. Frank Sinatra leads with 34, followed by Elvis Presley with 27, Bob Dylan with 20 and Paul McCartney, also with 18. (Sinatra’s total includes a collabo with Count Basie. Dylan’s tally includes three collabos with The Band. McCartney’s total includes an album with his late wife Linda McCartney and eight albums with his band Wings.)

It’s remarkable that Strait has tied McCartney, who is probably the most famous musician on the planet. It’s even more remarkable when you consider that Strait has piled up all of these top 10 albums since November 1992, when the Pure Country soundtrack became his first top 10 album.

Since May 1991, when Nielsen SoundScan began tracking sales for Billboard, Strait has amassed more top 10 albums than any other artist—male or female. Mariah Carey is in second place with 16. (Carey’s tally includes her debut album, which appeared in the top 10 both before and after the start of the Nielsen SoundScan era.) Tim McGraw and Dave Matthews are in third place with 15.

  • Hampton Williams returns with his family"So You Think You Can Dance," aka the best show on television, returned to Fox this Tuesday for its third episode of Season 10, airing more auditions from Los Angeles and Austin. With both cities being major music hubs in the U.S., the odds of the episode finding some very impressive dancers were high — and the show did not disappoint.

But the least disappointing (as is, most awesome) moment of all was when a beloved dancer from Season 9 showed up at the end of the episode to give "SYTYCD" another go. Will this be the year that Hampton Williams, aka the so-brilliant-it's-scary "Exorcist," makes it to the live shows? If so, he's definitely going to be the man to beat.

  • Josiah Hawley says goodbye to the Swon BrothersIt was another rough night for the rookie coaches, and for the boys, on "The Voice" this Tuesday.

Last week, Shakira lost her first contestant, Garrett Gardner, and Usher lost Vedo. On this Tuesday's live results show, Shakira had to say goodbye to another one of her team members, Kris Thomas, and Usher bid farewell to Josiah Hawley.

This now leaves Shakira and Usher with only one team member each. Meanwhile, the three-person teams helmed by veteran coaches Adam Levine and Blake Shelton remain intact for another week.

Trevor Bolder, pictured left [photo: Dave M. Benett/Getty Images]Trevor Bolder, the bass player who was one of the founding members of David Bowie's legendary backing band the Spiders From Mars, died Tuesday at the age of 62, after suffering from pancreatic cancer for several years.

The English musician and record producer was also known for being a member of British rock group Uriah Heep, joining them in the late 1970s and playing with them throughout his career. He appeared on the band's most recent album, Into the Wild, in 2011, and was planning to join them for their performance at the Download Festival in June, reports NME.

The famed bassist underwent surgery for pancreatic cancer earlier this year, in which he had part of his pancreas removed. "They’ve cut out the bad bit. I’ve had a bit of chemo, got to have that, which I’m doing now, in case there’s anything hanging about,” Bolder told Classic Rock magazine in February.

Bolder played on several classic Bowie albums, including Hunky Dory, The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust
