Miranda Lambert (Photo: Theo Wargo)The nominees for the 2013 CMT Music Awards were revealed on Monday morning, and Miranda Lambert, Eric Church, and Luke Bryan are the lucky leaders of the pack. Each artist scored four nods each.

All three will compete against each other in the Video of the Year and CMT Performance of the Year categories.

Lambert also scored recognition in the Female and Group Video of the Year categories. Meanwhile, Church and Bryan will go head-to-head in the Male and Collaborative Video of the Year areas.

Directly following the leading trio in terms of nominations are Jason Aldean, Kenny Chesney, Rascal Flatts, and Florida Georgia Line, with three nominations each. This is the first time Florida Georgia Line has been nominated.

Wax Fang [courtesy of WaxFang.com]The inspiration for the 150th episode of "American Dad" came from the unlikeliest of sources: Louisville psychedelic rock band Wax Fang. The popular animated show, which aired Sunday night on Fox, featured several songs from the duo's back catalog that inspired series co-creator Mike Barker to write the episode.

Reigning "American Idol" champ Phillip Phillips, who has a long and well-documented history of kidney stone problems, has postponed the remainder of his college tour due to illness.

This news was first revealed in a Sunday press release issued by the University of Wisconsin, Eau Claire; the Season 11 winner was set to perform with special guest Gin Wigmore on the campus tonight (Monday, May 6). But that concert and eight others--including a show in Dublin, Ireland--have been scrapped for now.

"Hey guys, due to doctor's orders I have to reschedule my last tour dates," Phillip tweeted on Monday morning, confirming the university's report."They will be rescheduled! Looking forward to seeing you on Mayer!"

Chris Kelly (Photo: Prince Williams)The tragic death of Kris Kross rapper Chris"Mac Daddy" Kelly of an apparent drug overdose last Wednesday just became even more heartbreaking. TMZ has obtained video reportedly shot in his Atlanta home on the morning of his death.

In the profanity-laced clip, a shaky camera captures the 34-year-old Kelly and some friends hanging in his home. He's interviewed briefly by a friend before he starts rapping along with a recording that was reportedly one of his final projects.

That cute kid from the "Jump" video is replaced by a grown man with a shaved head and a goatee, wearing a wife-beater white undershirt. An apparently inebriated Kelly attempts to rap along with the recording, spitting out rhymes like, "We don't stop, for nothing or nobody…look around you, it's full of dead bodies."

It's only rock 'n' roll, but a lot of people, including some very big-name celebrities, sure seem to like it. On Friday, May 3, the Rolling Stones celebrated a half-century in the music biz by kicking off their "50 and Counting" tour at Los Angeles's Staples Center, and they were joined--onstage and in the audience--by some very famous guests.
