Mumford & Sons bassist Ted Dwayne is home in England recovering from brain surgery, and he seems to be doing well. On June 17, he posted a message on the band's website expressing gratitude to all who have wished him a speedy recovery.

"Bear with a sore head!" he wrote. "Thanks so much for all the well-wishing, it seems to be working."

Along with the message, Dwayne posted a photo of his newly-shaven noggin. The bassist needed emergency surgery last week to remove a blood clot that had formed on his brain. In a statement released June 12, Mumford & Sons wrote, "Our friend and band mate Ted has been feeling unwell for a few days, and yesterday he was taken to a hospital. The scans revealed a blood clot on the surface of his brain."

She's been teasing the project since early this year, but in true generous form has made sure to keep her fans in the loop! Along the way during the process of making the album, Bareilles welcomed fans behind the scenes, resulting in a webisode series offering a glimpse at her creative process.

The final day of Manchester, Tennessee's Bonnaroo festival didn't disappoint, with crowd-pleasing sets by indie-rock supergroup Divine Fits, alt-rock darlings the National, thrift-shopping/tag-popping hip-hop duo Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, and many more. Less crowd-pleasing? The rainy weather, which probably had a lot of festival-goers wishing they hadn't squandered the last of their pocket money at the henna-tattoo and body-painting booths. D'oh!

But fans weren't going to let anything rain on their rock 'n' roll parade. Good times were still had by all, and listed below are the highlights of a literally thunderous Bonnaroo day four.

Jack Johnson was the hero of Tennessee's Bonnaroo festival this weekend, when he swooped in and replaced canceled Saturday headliners Mumford & Sons with just two days' notice, and even performed an original song he wrote about the whole surreal experience just hours before he took the stage.
