photo: Associated Press/Chris PizzelloHaving interviewed the guy several times, I could never have imagined that As I Lay Dying frontman Tim Lambesis could be up on charges for allegedly hiring someone to kill his estranged wife, Meggan. Yet the evidence against Lambesis seems pretty damning, which is why the singer is being held on $3 million bail at a detention center in Vista, California.

But remember, Lambesis is innocent until proven guilty, and his attorney insists proving the singer guilt is going to present a great challenge for the prosecution because his client likely was set up.

Our very special guest stars this week are the Police, a band that dominated the '80s like nobody's business. Their five studio albums all went platinum. They had six Top 10 singles in the U.S. -- 10 in the U.K. -- and went on to win six Grammys. And they were inducted into the prestigious Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame back in 2003.

Led by bassist/singer/songwriter Gordon Sumner, better known as Sting, the Police's novel reggae sound wowed the simple folk of the 1980s and propelled the band to superstardom. This week's video is one of their earlier songs: "Message in a Bottle," the sensational castaway-looking-for-love metaphor. Readers may recall that Sting performed it solo on the Hurricane Sandy telethon last year.

Sugarland's Jennifer Nettles, who gave birth to her first child in December, has been generous with funny new-mom chatter on Twitter--musing about nipple cream, postpartum dieting, and other baby-related subjects. What she has been a little stingy with, however, is photos of her new arrival.

So, what better day than Mother's Day to debut an absolutely adorable shot of her baby son Magnus?

From the judges' petty infighting, to endless industry gossip, to epic Twitter rants, "Idol" brought the drama week after week.

David Bowie's "Space Oddity" has been taken to new heights by a Canadian astronaut. Chris Hadfield has released a video of his rendition of Bowie's 1969 classic as his swan song as he prepares to return to Earth.

Everyone knows that America's sweetheart, Taylor Swift, can play the good-girl role to a tee. But who knew she could also rock a startlingly grown-up, almost naughty side as well? The singer showed off both of these dueling devil-angel styles during her Sunday night show in Washington D.C.

"Bad" Taylor took the stage dressed in an outfit quite divergent from her usual floaty, ethereal costumes--a black bra-style top and satin hotpants, accessorized with knee-high boots and wildly tousled hair. Appropriately, a troupe of masked male dancers fell at her feet.
