  • After almost three decades time to spend her many millions of dollars, you would think it would be hard for Madonna to acquire anything new at this point in her life. One thing she didn't have until recently? A homeless older brother.

Fifty-five-year-old Anthony Ciccone claims he now sleeps under a bridge in a Michigan town of about 14,000. How could the second eldest sibling of one of the world's richest women find himself bereft of familial support?

Although he's scant on the details, Ciccone says he was fired from his father's winery a year and a half ago and has counted himself among the homeless ever since. "My family turned their back on me, basically, when I was having a hard time," he told the Michigan Messenger. "You think I haven't answered this kind of question a bazillion times, why my sister is a multibazillionarie and I'm homeless on the street?"

"Never say never," he warned. "This could happen to anybody."

Still, it's hard to imagine the Material Girl having a

  • It's been a long time since anyone has heard from John Mayer, literally. The singer hasn't performed live since April 2011, he hasn't released an album since 2009, and he's even been missing from the gossip columns that would chronicle his every night on the town. (WireImage hasn't posted a photo of Mayer since June. June! Someone call a search party.) If it seems like Mayer is having a quiet 2011, it's because he's been forced to: The rocker, like Adele, has been struggling with throat inflammation for the past few months. Mayer's still able to type though, so he took to his Tumblr to let fans know what's up with his platinum-selling pipes.

"I wanted to give you an update on the granuloma just above my vocal cord. I had surgery this afternoon to remove it and am now on complete vocal rest for a month or more," Mayer wrote. "It's been a very long process in waiting to see if time was an alternative to surgery, but even given two weeks' voice rest (along with many other approaches),

  • Neil Young's annual Bridge School Benefit has been the highlight of the autumn live circuit for the past 25 years, and the quarter-century anniversary concert this weekend might have been Young's best lineup yet. Eddie Vedder, Arcade Fire, Foo Fighters, Beck, Dave Matthews, and Neil Young himself were just some of the musicians involved in the event. In addition to raising funds for the Bridge School, which benefits children with physical impairments and communication needs, the gig also serves as a celebration of the Godfather of Grunge's music, as some of the artists added a Young song to their acoustic set list.

On Saturday night, the concert turned into an all-star round of musical chairs, with many of the headliners showing up during another artist's set: Neil Young performing with Beck, Beck performing with Eddie Vedder, Arcade Fire's Régine performing with Eddie Vedder, Arcade Fire performing with Neil Young, etc. Norah Jones, Jenny Lewis, Carlos Santana, and Tony Bennett

  • Sly Stone may be homeless, but he'll have a roof over his head for the next 90 days, hopefully: The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame funk-rock legend has entered a rehabilitation center with the hopes of curbing his long addiction to drugs. A source tells Radar Online, "[Stone] wants to get clean, and stay sober. Sly has fallen on very hard times in the past few years. Sly will be in rehab for at least the next 90 days, and he is committed to getting sober." The singer was arrested for crack cocaine possession in April.

As The Amp wrote last month, when it was discovered that Sly was living in a small camper parked on a Los Angeles street, Stone has seen his fortune ravaged by decades of drug use, poor business decisions (including selling the rights to his music to Michael Jackson's Sony ATV for $1 million in 1984), and a ill-advised contract with former manager Jerry Goldstein. The drug abuse has been the main problem, however, as Stone's dependence has turned him largely into a recluse

  • The Rolling Stones' Some Girls reissue won't arrive until a month from now, but today brought the premiere of an unreleased track called "No Spare Parts." The song was initially, recorded during the same 1978 sessions that produced Some Girls, but this country-tinged song would have been out of place among the sleaze and glam of album tracks "Miss You" and "Beast of Burden." Inspired by a road trip from Los Angeles to San Antonio, "No Spare Parts" is a honky-tonk tune in the same vein as Stones cuts like "Dead Flowers" and "Dear Doctor." Listen below, via BBC Radio 2:

The track will be released as a single before the Some Girls reissue is released on November 21st. "No Spare Parts" isn't completely new to Stones diehards -- the song has been kicking around YouTube since 2008, and was circulated on bootlegs even before that - but the reissue marks the first time the track has been officially released by the band. Mick Jagger also recorded new vocals for this version, Reuters reports.

  • Lady Gaga and renowned photographer Terry Richardson are releasing a collaborative photobook next month described as "a visual dialogue" between the two, filled with "intimate, random and behind-the-scenes" images of the progressive pop star captured over a ten-month period.

A sneak peek of LADY GAGA X TERRY RICHARDSON shows a characteristically unorthodox pic of Lady G taking a fancy-looking dinner while relaxing in little more than lacy lingerie. Not only is the left shoulder strap falling down, but the lingerie itself is fairly see-through. However, in deference to the chic-looking establishment, Gaga is sporting a sizable chain of diamonds around her neck.

Although seated behind a heaping serving of meat, mashed potatoes and asparagus, Gaga curiously has a carrot in her hand, which is clearly not part of the meal she's been served. Maybe this picture of Gaga choosing to munch on a baby carrot instead of the hearty meal in front of her is a nod to her previously stated belief
