Beyoncé warmed up for this weekend's Glastonbury Festival by testing out a few covers in Nice, France, last night -- Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody," Prince's "The Beautiful Ones," and Kings of Leon's "Sex on Fire," all stacked up one after another in a sort-of medley. She botched a few lyrics on "Rhapsody," which is amusing because she had no trouble remembering all the complexly timed choreography for her stunning, high-tech Billboard Awards performance without even the aid of a green screen (and anyone who's seen Wayne's World knows it by heart).

The bad news it that the singer is likely jittery about the web since her new album 4 leaked and she appears to be swatting recordings from the show at the Palais Nikaia off YouTube today -- but seriously, if you're going to do a Prince homage, you can't do much better than that. Radiohead's upcoming television performance in producer Nigel Godrich's "Basement" studio was supposed to mark the first time fans would see the band perform tracks from The King of Limbs live. As it turns out, Thom Yorke and the gang will also use the occasion to unveil some new music as well. Over at Radiohead's Dead Air Space site this morning, drummer Phil Selway premiered the From the Basement rendition of a new RH song called "Staircase."

The Amp actually heard the premiere of "Staircase" when Yorke debuted it on a lone guitar during his Atoms for Peace concerts in New York in April 2010. A lot has changed since then, as "Staircase" now has two drummers! The other bald fellow, according to Selway, is Clive Deamer. "Clive has long been one of my favourite drummers and so I was really excited when he agreed to perform with us," Selway writes.

While other solo Yorke tracks like "Lotus Flower," "Separator," and "Give Up the Ghost" ended up on the back half of TKOL, "Staircase"

Considering there were two pretty high-profile season finales on television last night -- The Killing and Game of Thrones -- no one's at fault for missing the most recent riveting episode of VH1's Mob Wives. But you should know it featured one of the strangest music-related cameos in reality TV history -- like, on the level of Bob Dylan on Pawn Stars and Iggy Pop on American Idol. Graziano must have one of those giant personalities you only see on reality TV shows, since the usually wild Ghostface seems almost shell-shocked in her spotlight. In a Rolling Stone interview published in March, My Morning Jacket's Jim James revealed several of his band's new songs had been written with another bunch of furry rockers in mind: the Muppets. A movie executive had recruited the group to work up some tracks, promising the chance to do a tour where they'd provide the music behind animatronic Muppets, sort of Gorillaz-style, sort of Chuck E. Cheese band-style. But when the executive got fired, MMJ's chance to be the real, live Electric Mayhem Band vanished.
