Britney Spears and Demi Moore Are Psyched About Spotify’s Arrival!

European music-streaming service Spotify finally arrived in America today! Its tagline helps explain why folks are so incredibly jazzed about this: "Any track, any time, anywhere. And it's free!" There are 15 million tracks to choose from, and you can upload your own library to the Spotify cloud (the company has struck deals with all four major labels, but it's definitely missing a catalog or two). You can see what your Facebook pals are listening to, and get in on their playlists! You can fight forest fires and cure cancer!

So how do you get on this amazing thing? Patient new users can sign up for an invitation to the ad-supported free service on the Spotify website. Less patient parties can shell out a little bit of cash -- $4.99 or $9.99 a month -- for Spotify Premium and Unlimited, respectively, and get on board immediately. Premium gets you unlimited Web streaming with no ads, Unlimited gives you all that and access on your mobile device plus the ability to use your playlists when you're not online.

How great is Spotify? Pretty great. But don't take our word for it. Last night a very psyched Britney Spears tweeted, "So excited Spotify is FINALLY coming to the US tomorrow! Getting my playlists ready now... -Brit." Sure you are, Brit! And check out these satisfied customers:

"Spotify is genius!"
- Demi Moore

"Spotify is so good"
- Mark Zuckerberg, co-founder of Facebook
