Brits Torn Over Whether Lady Gaga Is Best or Worst Dressed

The Haus of Gaga is either doing something really right or really wrong. Lady Gaga has taken her pant-less aesthetic everywhere from a New York Mets game to her sister's high school graduation, and turned heads (and likely noses) in her infamous VMAs meat dress. But were all these gratuitous displays of fashion fetching or fugly? All will be decided on February 23rd, when Gaga is up for both Most Stylish and Least Stylish at the 2011 NME Awards.

Her competitors for best dressed are Brandon Flowers, Hayley Williams, Liam Gallagher, and Noel Fielding while Cheryl Cole, Justin Bieber, Ke$ha, and Liam Gallagher (yup, again) will battle for worst. Gaga will also face off against Alison Mosshart, Hayley Williams, Shakira, and Amp favorite Emily Haines from Metric for Hottest Woman. (There is mercifully no category for Least Hot Woman.)

Of course, by late February Gaga will have unleashed her new video for "Born This Way" (early review from a makeup artist on set: it's "profound"), performed the track at the Grammy Awards, and also walked the Grammy red carpet, so the pendulum could swing mightily in either direction depending on how much jerky she chooses to wear.
