West's NSFW video for "Monster" featuring Jay-Z, Nicki Minaj and Rick Ross has leaked. (It's so controversial we can't even embed it, so watch it at Rap Up while you can.) You can tell it's unfinished because the sound is awful, there are time codes littering the bottom of the frame, and at the 2:28 point there's a "Getty Images" watermark. We'll hold out our final judgment on this shocking music video until the final version emerges, but its dominant theme appears to be dead models.
The "Monster" video may have blood and zombies, but here's a really frightening piece of West news: According to not-so-wonderful rumors, Kanye spent his post-Christmas weekend in Los Angeles shooting a music video for Kim Kardashian's upcoming foray into pop music. Kanye, who gossip sites claim was dating and/or impregnating Kardashian in recent weeks, will also appear on an upcoming episode of "Keeping Up With the Kardashians," Kim's high-rated but vapid E! reality show. Don't forget, this is the man who slammed mindless pop music on his album's "So Appalled": "That's why another goddamn dance track gotta hurt/That's why I rather spit somethin' that gotta purp'."
One person who definitely didn't even hear "So Appalled" is Steven Holmes, a.k.a. the first random person West decided to follow on Twitter this past summer. The Guardian checked in with @ste_101, and learned that although Holmes' followers ballooned to over 15,000 after he received West's very unexpected endorsement, he didn't really love his Internet fame. So the U.K. native still hasn't even listened to "My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy." Holmes also admitted he stopped following West since Kanye's many 140-character rants annoyingly "blocks the stream up."
