Have you ever sat back, took a long sip of root beer, and wondered, "What's the Kiss song 'I'm In Need of Love' really about?" The answer can be found on a Tumblr blog called Kiss Songs Explained (via Amp Kiss expert Chuck Klosterman) that does just that, in one sentence or less. In this case: "Ace [Frehley] looks for romance while under the influence of a powerful, weapons-grade hallucinogen." Since it's Kiss we're talking about, in truth the blog's directive could be "Kiss songs explained in one word or less." That word, of course, is sex.
As the site's author explained when it launched over last summer, "I poke a little fun at the band's lyrical choices and personal foibles on this blog, but it is all in fun and is certainly coming from a place of respect and admiration. I love Kiss. To me they will always be larger than life." Kiss have a fairly massive discography, so this is one dedicated superfan.
