Lil Wayne Live-Blogged the Super Bowl, Wore Cheese

The epic battle of "Green and Yellow" versus "Black and Yellow" went down last night, and noted Green Bay fan, rapper, and fledgling sports writer Lil Wayne was on hand to contribute "man on the scene" reports for the Wall Street Journal's Super Bowl live blog. Anyone expecting expert analysis from Weezy regarding the Packers' pass-happy offensive strategy or the Steelers' relentless pass rush were likely disappointed, but Wayne did throw in some patented quips like, "Yoooo I'm in my suite in the endzone Cheesehead on Go Packers Go!!" and "Bout to put some Cheeze on that RotleisBURGER!!!" Also, Lil Wayne was literally a Cheesehead.

Lil Wayne's contributions to the live blog in the second half became almost non-existent as he watched the Packers' 11-point cushion at halftime diminish to 3 points with 7:34 remaining in the fourth quarter. But after the Steelers failed on their fourth down with 49 seconds left to essentially end the game and seal the Packers victory, Wayne perked back up, dispatching the last word in the WSJ blog, "GameOver #greennyellow #greennyellow!!!"
