Radiohead Finally Decide to Promote ‘The King of Limbs’ Here on ‘SNL’

It only took seven months, but Radiohead have finally decided to promote The King of Limbs here in the U.S. After not playing a single gig on this side of the Atlantic since they released their latest album in February, Radiohead will perform on the season premiere episode of Saturday Night Live on September 24th. The SNL appearance will mark the second time the band has played the late-night show; the first came over a decade ago when Radiohead performed a pair of Kid A tracks for a Kate Hudson-hosted episode in 2000.

This time around, Alec Baldwin's hosting, marking his record 16th turn as SNL host, USA Today writes. Since Radiohead will be in town, maybe they can schedule some Madison Square Garden shows while they're at it? SNL revealed one more host/musical guest combo for the upcoming season: Bridesmaid star Melissa McCarthy and Lady Antebellum headline the October 1st episode.

In other Radiohead news, the band's ongoing TKOL remix series -- the fourth is up now on their Dead Air Space site -- will be compiled into a double-disc set called TKOL RMX 1234567 and released on October 11th, AtEase reports.
