George Harrison was "the quiet one," so we'll let the trailer for Martin Scorsese's upcoming documentary George Harrison: Living in the Material World speak for itself. (It's saying, "I look awesome, don't I?") The two-part film exploring the life of the Beatles legend will debut on HBO October 5th and 6th before getting DVD and Blu-ray releases on October 10th. Watch George's beard grow as friends, collaborators, and experts explain his charm ("He was cocky, he had a great haircut," Paul McCartney recalls) and vision ("He mortgaged his house to put up the money for [Life of Brian] because he wanted to see it, which is still the most anybody's ever paid for a cinema ticket," Monty Python's Eric Idle says) and talent ("George liked to surround himself with people that were good at something," Tom Petty muses). If you don't already love George Harrison as a musician, it looks like this film will show you how to love him as a man.
