  • Lady Gaga’s ‘Poker Face’ Inspires Grandpa To Bust A Move

http://media.zenfs.com/en-US/blogs/music_prod/stopthepresses-605711841-1272652376.jpgLady Gaga may have inspired many things, but here's one we wouldn't have guessed: A grandpa with some serious moves.

A video that's mesmerized the Web (poor quality aside) stars an older man grooving out to Lady Gaga's song Poker Face. After Ms. Gaga sees this gem, she may want to hire "Grandpa Gaga" as a backup dancer.

As you'll see on the video, Gramps not only hits the dance floor for the entire song, but he also outdances guys half his age who try — and fail — to keep up. At times Pops moves so fast he appears only as a blur on tape. "Grandpa Gaga" has already inspired quite a following: The YouTube video has over 140,000 views and counting. We can only hope for a sequel.

And Grandpa can really cut a rug. His leg kicks would not be out of step with the Rockettes (maybe senior edition), his hips have a jiggle that could have made Elvis jealous, and his jumping jacks have to be seen to be believed.

Oh, and stick around for the end when he treats his audience to the splits.

  • Whitney Houston Sound-Alike Doing Better Than Whitney Houston

Whitney Houston may be struggling with her career, but her sound-alike is hitting a high note. The Taiwanese singing sensation Lin Yu-Chun, who rose from obscurity to YouTube stardom thanks to the Taiwan version of "American Idol," is now a true star with a record deal from Sony.

Houston was supposed to be on a comeback tour, but instead she's being told never to come back. The artist's performance was called "a national scandal" by London's Independent, and she was booed in Australia.

The pop princess's once-soaring sounds are now "ragged and raw," according to one critic, who added that between songs she could be heard "wheezing and panting and occasionally breaking into a scary Wicked Witch of the West cackle." Ouch.

Maybe the deteriorating diva can take comfort in knowing that her protégé has found all the inspiration he needed from her recording of "I Will Always Love You." His version shot him to instant Internet fame, which led to the record deal with Sony.

    While only 24, the

  • The Buzz Log: Kelly Clarkson Cover Controversy Rocks The Web

Kelly Clarkson hasn't lost her voice. But she seems to have lost a few of her curves in her cover photo for Self magazine. The songstress is gracing the September cover of Self's "total body confidence issue." But is it all just lip service if the cover girl is being digitally covered up?

Self magazine admits it did airbrush the singer, but no more than they do every other cover model. The editor-in-chief argued, "Our picture shows her confidence and beauty."

Fine, but some are griping that Self magazine doesn't have the confidence to show the singer's real body-booty and all. A Fox blogger asks, "Was Kelly Clarkson overly Photoshopped?" then compares the cover pic with her recent more bodacious appearance on "Good Morning America."

One person who doesn't have a problem with her weight is Kelly Clarkson herself. She tells the magazine: "When people talk about my weight, I'm like, 'You seem to have a problem with it; I don't...I'm fine! I've never felt uncomfortable on the red carpet
