Gosh, readers, 2009 certainly went by fast. In many ways, it was a tumultuous year, loaded with astonishing moments. Michael Jackson died, Adam Lambert didn't win American Idol and Taylor Swift dominated the year-end awards. On top of all that, that articulate guy was inaugurated as our first Muslim president. Yes, '09 was something else, especially right here. Let's take a minute to review Framed's track record in music videos in the year gone by:
Of VH-1's Top 40 Videos of 2009, the only three to appear in Framed were by Taylor Swift, Kelly Clarkson, and Miley Cyrus.
Of all the VMA nominees--more than 50!--the only ones to appear in Framed were Eminem's "We Made You," Asher Roth's "I Love College," and Kelly Clarkson's "My Life Would Suck Without You."
There were something like 38 nominees for CMT Music Video Awards, and we did ourselves proud by overlooking all of 'em except for Taylor Swift's "Love Story."
