  • Marilyn Manson Loses His Makeup, Gains a Mullet

Believe it or not, the mullet-wearing man in this photo is actually controversial shock-rocker and performance artist Marilyn Manson.

The 41-year-old (real name: Brian Warner) is rarely seen without his goth-like heavy white makeup, black-rimmed eyes, and red lips, so why is he sporting such a distinctly all-American look in this photo?

According to Interview magazine's website, which published the photo, it's because Manson is a huge fan of a certain TV show.

Interview reports that Manson is a "diehard" fan of HBO's "Eastbound & Down," the critically worshiped comedy starring Danny McBride as a washed-up former baseball star whose trademark mullet and angry face Manson is imitating in this photo.

Interview's reporter Hunter Stephenson was intrigued when he found out from "Eastbound" creators that Manson is "obsessed" with the show and its sporting protagonist, Kenny Powers. So he asked a director currently working with Manson

  • Tongue Cancer Survivor’s Moving “X Factor” Performance

Just 16 months ago, doctors were telling Karl Dimachki that he would never sing again. Diagnosed with tongue cancer, the 31-year-old Australian construction worker had his lymph nodes and half of his tongue removed. But Tuesday night, Dimachki wowed judges and the audience with a heartwarming rendition of Lionel Richie's "Hello" on the Australian version of "The X Factor."

Standing onstage and appearing overwhelmed, Dimachki addressed the crowd before his audition: "I never really thought that I would actually come this far, because of my previous cancer that I went through. It was about a year and a half ago."

When the judges asked what kind of cancer he'd battled, Dimachki described his operation, making it clear how far he'd come to stand on the "X Factor" stage.

"The doctors actually told me, 'You won't be able to sing again, you won't be able to talk properly, it's going to take at least 3-4 years where you're going to see some improvement.' But here I am -- I'm here!" Dimachki

  • ‘Lucky’ Student Chosen By Kanye West On Twitter Rejects Newfound Fame

British teen Steven Holmes was initially thrilled when Kanye West chose him to be the first (and so far only) person Kanye would "follow" on Twitter. The student from Coventry, England -- who goes by the Twitter handle "ste_101" -- responded to Kanye's unexpected "follow" by excitedly Tweeting: "Holy *&$% bro thx for following!". Kanye replied: "You are the chosen one dun dun dun dun." But then the phone calls started.

In an exclusive interview with his hometown paper, the Coventry Telegraph, Holmes says he was immediately barraged through Twitter and his phone with requests from media organizations. He says he turned down interviews with the BBC, CNN, and New York Magazine, among others.

Since Saturday night, when the rap star chose to follow him on Twitter, Holmes began receiving messages from people desperate to get West's attention. People tried to send him film trailers and music demos, hoping to reach 33-year-old Kanye and his 400,000-plus followers. "I didn't want to talk to any

  • 16-Year-Old Justin Bieber Drives Diddy’s $200,000 Lamborghini

It seems P. Diddy wasn't kidding when he promised Justin Bieber he'd give him the keys to his Lamborghini when the teen pop star turned 16. On Tuesday, Bieber was spotted driving to get some frozen yogurt with his friend Sean Kingston in Diddy's white Gallardo Spyder. (It's not clear if Diddy gave it to Bieber for keeps or just for a spin.)

Bieber, who turned 16 on March 1 and passed the driving test soon after, laughed off Diddy's promise, telling People magazine in March, "[Diddy] said when I turn 16 he will give me his Lamborghini. But we all know Diddy's not going to give me his Lamborghini, he's all talk."

[Video: How to get Justin's hair]

The white Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder (henceforth affectionately referred to as a "Bieberghini") retails for upwards of $210,000, according to Yahoo! Autos. Lamborghinis have become a sort of go-to luxury vehicle for famous people. Other celebrities who've been known to drive Lamborghinis include Soulja Boy, Kobe Bryant, Bam Margera,

  • Acrobatic Tumble Briefly Lands Pink in Hospital

Pink fell right into a steel barricade. • ‘Best-Looking Woman’ Christina Hendricks is a Music Video Star

    Apparently being America's best-looking woman isn't a full-time job.

Christina Hendricks, the "Mad Men" star recently voted "America's best-looking woman" by readers of Esquire magazine, has been moonlighting as a music-video star.

Those used to seeing Hendricks in stylish fashions of the 1960s as office manager Joan Holloway will get a kick out of her new role as a futuristic android in a new, "Star Wars"-esque music video. The video is for the song "Ghost Inside" by the band Broken Bells, and shows Christina in a military-style jumpsuit flying a spacecraft to a sunny paradise.

Broken Bells is a new collaboration between the popular indie artists Danger Mouse and James Mercer, lead singer of The Shins. Their first, self-titled album, from which "Ghost Inside" comes, was released in March.

When news of the video's star first came out last week, Mercer told Entertainment Weekly that he was surprised when Hendricks said yes to the role: "We assumed we would ask and that'd be it.

  • Justin Bieber Ridiculed for ‘German’ Mistake

The Internet is in a tizzy over an interview in which teen dream Justin Bieber appears to not be familiar with the word "German."

In the interview, a talk show host from New Zealand asks the 16-year-old a few true-or-false questions, including the query "True or false: 'Bieber' is German for basketball."

Bieber gets confused over the word "German," and the interviewer repeats it.

After this back-and-forth, Bieber says he doesn't know what the TV host means, and finally gives up on the question, proclaiming: "We don't say that in America."

It seems obvious that Bieber was simply perplexed by the interviewer's thick Kiwi accent (which the host himself points out). Or perhaps he was just annoyed at being asked an inane question.

Bieber offers his own explanation, via Twitter. "I thought this interviewer in NZ said 'Jewman' instead of 'German' people think I don't know what German is?"

Either way, the video has gone viral as blogs have ridiculed Bieber for exactly that as he did

  • Mariah Carey Renews Vows with Strange ‘Ring Pop’ Ring

When Mariah Carey and her husband Nick Cannon said "I do" to each other for the third time at their Beverly Hills home on Friday, Cannon, 29, presented his wife of two years with an unusual piece of bling: a huge, diamond- and sapphire-encrusted bauble designed to look like a high-end, thoroughly inedible version of the classic children's "ring pop" candy.

In a video touting the ring's designer, Jason of Beverly Hills, Cannon, 29, explains that the expensive gift is also something of a joke: "This is for fun," he tells the camera, displaying the candy-colored ring in its special box.

"This is what we do for toys. At some point you've gotta have a sense of humor about all of this. A sense of humor with diamonds."

Expensive "gag" gift aside, Carey, 40, and Cannon take their vows very seriously. The two, who married in 2008 after just six weeks of dating, plan to renew their vows every year on their anniversary.

"We get married every year! That's our thing," Cannon told UsMagazine.com

  • Afghanistan Troops Go Gaga With Their Own ‘Telephone’ Remake

A group of U.S. soldiers stationed in Afghanistan used some of their rare free time to put together a reenactment of Lady Gaga and Beyonce's famous "Telephone" video.

Though it was intended to delight just their friends and family back home with some lighthearted entertainment, the video has gone viral on YouTube, getting more than 200,000 views since being posted on April 23...and counting.

It's only just beginning to get major press coverage, so it's fair to predict the video will soon be seen by millions. With its choreographed dance routines, homemade costumes, and improvised gymnastics, the clip is thoroughly enjoyable, even if you're not familiar with the original:

The soldiers who star in the video are already being hounded by the press, but so far have declined to answer questions from journalists. When he posted the video, 24-year-old soldier and amateur video director Aaron Melcher included the following note:

"This is a couple guys located
