  • Meet Paul McCartney’s Fiancée, Businesswoman Nancy Shevell

He loves her, yeah, yeah yeah.

Paul McCartney is getting married. The Beatles legend recently announced his engagement to New York businesswoman Nancy Shevell. The news was first published in People magazine, which quoted an unidentified source. McCartney's publicist later confirmed the report.

Almost immediately, online interest in McCartney's future bride zoomed up the charts. Unlike her soon-to-be hubby, there isn't much information about Shevell. According to the official website of her place of work, New England Motor Freight (NEWF), Shevell works as a vice president and is "responsible for accounts receivable, corporate communications, benefits administration, purchasing of all supplies and equipment -- with the exception of trucks -- and overall office management." In other words, she's not in show business.

Again, according to NEWF, Shevell earned her Bachelor's Degree from Arizona State University, where she majored in transportation. She also serves as co-chairperson of the

  • Kitty Purry: Twitter Star

When it comes to celebrity power, few can touch pop star Katy Perry. However, Kitty Purry, Katy's pet cat, comes within a whisker or two -- at least on Twitter.

After Katy tweeted a photo of the fluffy grey feline hanging out in her super-swanky shark bed, online interest in the kitty roared, and the photo quickly went viral. The term "kitty purry" became one of the hottest topics on Twitter. Comments on the photo ranged from "a-dor-able" to "awww" to "kitty purry LOL" to "I wish I had a bed like that" (join the club).

According to The Inquisitr, Kitty Purry isn't Katy's only pet cat. She and husband Russell Brand also look after Morrissey (named after the Smiths singer, of course) and Krusty (apparently "a combination of the pop star's name and the comedian's nickname 'Rusty'"). Lest you continue to doubt Katy's obession with cats, don't forget that she named her fragrance "Purr."

Not every celeb in Hollywood has a pet, but those who do tend to give their furry companions unique

  • Wiz Khalifa’s ‘Black And Yellow’ Pays Homage To Pittsburgh

The Pittsburgh Steelers face a tough fight against the Baltimore Ravens this weekend in the NFL playoffs. Steeler supporters will no doubt twirl their terrible towels. Also, expect more than a few to belt out a tune that's all about love for the Steel City.

Rapper Wiz Khalifa's "Black And Yellow," a super-popular tune, is blowing up on the Web, partly in response to the Steelers' recent success. You see, the song is, among other things, about life in Pittsburgh. All three of the city's professional sports teams (the Steelers, the Pirates of MLB, and the Penguins of the NHL) wear black and yellow. As does Wiz Khalifa, if his lyrics are to believed.

Currently the song has well over 20 million views on YouTube, and its performance in Search is equally impressive. Over the past week, online lookups for "black and yellow song" spiked 499%. Meanwhile, interest in the heavily tattooed rapper is holding steady. He is currently among Yahoo!'s top 5,000 overall searches.

  • The Most Popular Christmas Carols in Search

Christmas comes but once a year. Christmas carols, on the other hand... they can stay in your head for much longer.

Over the past several weeks, aspiring crooners have been searching for all manner of holiday tunes. Chestnuts roasting on open fires? Check. Reindeer with improbably red noses? Yup. Below we've written a list of the top searched-for Christmas carols. And, yes, we checked it twice.

Not surprisingly, it's the 12 Days of Christmas in the top spot. We suspect most of these searches are from people wanting to know more about the story behind the lyrics. A partridge in a pear tree? Come on, who does that?

The song dates back to the 18th century, but didn't come to the United States until the early 20th century when Emily Brown, a grade school teacher in Milwaukee, put on a play inspired by the classic carol. First Stage writes that Brown wrote several plays. Her version of "The Twelve Days of Christmas" was so popular that the tune went on to "spread throughout the country."

  • Paramore Loses Two Members

Pop-punk group Paramore is losing two of its founding members. The band announced that guitarist Josh Farro and drummer Zac Farro are leaving.

The announcement led to a lot of noise on the Web. Almost immediately, Web searches for "paramore breakup" and "paramore band splits" surged into breakout status.

The band posted a statement on its official site confirming that the split had been in the works for some time.

"A couple of months ago, Josh and Zac let us know they would be leaving the band after our show in Orlando last Sunday. None of us were really shocked. For the last year it hasn't seemed as if they wanted to be around anymore. We want Josh and Zac to do something that makes them happy and if that isn't here with us, then we support them finding happiness elsewhere."

The band's three remaining members, including frontwoman Hayley Williams, have no plans to leave the band. "We never for a second thought about leaving any of this behind. We really hope that you can be

  • Video Masters OK Go Spark Chain Reaction In ‘This Too Shall Pass’ Video

The band OK Go is probably more famous for their videos than their songs. That's more a testament to the greatness of their videos than anything else. When these guys put out a video, you can be sure it'll make your jaw drop at least once or twice. "How did they do that," is a typical reaction.

Their video for "A Million Ways" showcased the band's uncanny ability for getting everything done in one take. OK Go's breakthrough song "Here It Goes Again" featured the band dancing on treadmills in one continuous and mesmerizing shot. Their newest video, for the song "This Too Shall Pass," may have surpassed that landmark. (It is actually the second video they released for this song. Click here to see the first.) In what again looks like one take, the band sings their tune while the world's most complex Rube Goldberg Device whirls, spins, crashes, fires, hammers, and in perfect unison with the song.

A million things could have gone wrong, and during rehearsals, we're sure they did. But the

  • Ayla Brown’s New Album Is “Available”

Ayla Brown, daughter of the newly elected Sen. Scott Brown, has a new album.

As a former contestant on "American Idol," Ms. Brown is no stranger to the spotlight. Still, it took her father's recent win in the Massachusetts Senate race to really raise her online profile. His embarassing, off-the-cuff remarks ("My daughter is available," he quipped, much to his daughter's horror) certainly didn't hurt.

Following her dad's surprise victory and TMI-fueled speech, Web searches for "ayla brown" and "ayla brown singer" surged into the thousands. Folks wanted to know more than just her relationship status.

Ask, and ye shall receive. Ayla has a new CD out entitled "Circles," and its getting a good amount of buzz. The album was originally scheduled to be released in April, but Ms. Brown has elected to strike while the iron is hot. The five-song EP debuted on iTunes earlier this month.

According to a blog from The Washington Post, customer reviews range from "She is very talented" to "these
