That man was Brian Hugh Warner, better known as Marilyn Manson.

Should you require further explanation -- and you should -- a witness who stood in the same line offered one, via the social news website Reddit.

Getting the boot from Fort Knox is the latest wrinkle in a controversy that began last weekend at an NRA convention and led to a visit from the Secret Service.

Citing inflammatory language while expressing his displeasure with President Barack Obama, the military has uninvited rock star and conservative political activist Ted Nugent from performing at Fort Knox in Kentucky, according to the U.S. Army post's Facebook page.

WikiLeaks cables also claim that Beyonce and Usher performed at a family function.

The Qaddafi family paid Mariah Carey $1 million to sing only four songs at a New Year's Day family bash in the Caribbean, according to American diplomatic cables obtained by WikiLeaks, as picked up by the New York Times.

The singer was hired to perform at a New Year's Day 2009 celebration on the island of St. Barts, according to cables documenting the lavish lifestyle of the family.

And she's not the only celebrity who has performed for the family. A year ago, Beyonce and Usher were reportedly hired to sing at another New Year's family celebration in St. Barts.

The revelations come as the Qaddafi family, led by Libyan leader Muammar el-Qaddafi, is currently enmeshed in a bloody struggle to hold on to power in Libya.
