  • No wonder Justin Bieber wants to hang with this guy. Singer/songwriter extraordinaire Ed Sheeran went next level at Delta's TX4 pop-up experience in New York City on Thursday night with the brief, but explosive set at the VIP event.

Celebrating Delta's new state-of-the-art Terminal 4 at JFK airport, which officially opened on Friday, the 22-year-old Grammy nominee started off with slow with "Give Me Love" followed by "Lego House". Sheeran immediately had the audience swooning and singing along while effortlessly live looping his soaring vocals, creating a choir of Eds as he

  • Whether reincarnated from the most ostentatious ancient civilizations, or time-traveled back from a glittery space colony, Empire of the Sun are arguably one of the most entertaining bands to ever watch live. Adorned with a golden headpiece fit for a Mayan deity, frontman Luke Steele looks ready for idol worship as he and other half Nick Littlemore regaled his followers at the band's Yahoo! On the Road performance at the House of Blues in Dallas last Monday.

But who is ultimately responsible for adorning Empire of the Sun with their elaborate metals, foils, furs, and feathers? Sydney-based costume designer Andrea Cainero has been bringing the merry band of immortals to dazzling, corporeal life since 2008.

From the road, the fashion design-educated Cainero told us, "I previously worked with Josh Logue who has directed most of the Empire videos. He mentioned he was looking for someone to make costumes for their second clip "We are the People" that was going to be filmed in Mexico. I loved the band's first single "Walking on a Dream" and after seeing the video for that track, I knew I had to be a part of the second one. The budget was pretty tight on the clips at that point, so I paid for my own airfare to Mexico and have been working with the band ever since."

For Cainero's first gig with the band, she researched Mayan and Aztec history for the band's ensembles, sourcing materials from Monterrey, Mexico. The resulting mash-up of old world and space age that Cainero calls the "Cultural Future" became the band's signature look that is unlike any other group.

Steele and Littlemore have a definite say when

  • Imagine Dragons Establish Cancer Foundation for Fan

Tyler Robinson, who passed away when he was only 17, left a lasting impact on the lives of Imagine Dragons and their music. On Wednesday night during Imagine Dragons' Yahoo! On The Road tour date in St. Louis, Missouri, singer Dan Reynolds gave a heartfelt shout out to Robinson, just a day after what would've been Robinson's 18th birthday.

Many fans know of Robinson because the band has dedicated their song, "Demons," to him, but not many are aware of how the teen originally connected with the rising super stars. The musicians shared the story with Ben Lyons before their show. "We were playing a small club," said guitarist Wayne Sermon. "There happened to be this kid in the audience, Tyler Robinson, who was just a fan of the music. We found out after the show that he had been battling cancer for a while. We met with him and were instantly struck by his character."

Robinson had been diagnosed with a rare form of cancer called Rhabdomyosarcoma at 16. He spent a year undergoing treatments and one of his favorite lyrics during that period was from "It's Time," where Imagine Dragons sings that the "road to heaven runs through miles of clouded hell." The band formed a friendship with the teen and dedicated the song to him at a show.

"We stayed in constant contact with him. He came to another few shows. And all of the sudden it just struck," said Sermon. "The cancer had come back. He was in remission for a while, and within a day he was in the hospital and had passed. We wanted to use his name to spread a positive message. We felt like that was the right thing to do."

When Robinson passed away in March, Sermon said the group started the Tyler Robinson Foundation to help families with children who are battling cancer "pay for the expensive costs" associated with the treatment. At the time of his death, the band was also in the midst of editing their video for the song, "Demons," and they dedicated that song to the young fan. At the Yahoo! On the Road show, they encouraged the audience at The Pageant and watching online to donate to the newly established cancer foundation, or any other cause to help find a cure.

  • Justin Bieber [Photo: Ethan Miller/Getty Images]

Apparently tens of millions of Beliebers are not enough to make pop star Justin Bieber feel like he's a serious artist. At the 2013 Billboard Music Awards Sunday night, Bieber took the stage to accept his fan-voted Milestone Award award and was met with boos from the audience.

After a long pause, Bieber felt the need to defend himself, saying, "I'm 19 years old. I think I'm doing a pretty good job."

  • Imagine Dragons Floors, Owl City Soars in St. Louis

The "Show Me" state of Missouri showed Yahoo! On The Road an awesome time on Wednesday night by singing/screaming along to Imagine Dragons and Owl City! The purple caravan dropped in on a balmy St. Louis at the incredible Pageant theater in the Delmar Loop district -- the biggest venue on tour yet, and for good reason!

Plus, the backstage had a massive shrine of all the bras, underwear, and random sundries scrawled with frantic love messages thrown on stage over the years. Included in the Wall of Fame-Worship: An inflatable E.T. in a bike basket, a strap-on baby bump, and a full window mannequin, in a bikini of course.

  • The men of Fall Out Boy have made their triumphant return with their first album in five years Save Rock And Roll debuting at #1, kicked off a huge tour with an evolved stadium audience, and hit the exclusive Yahoo! On The Road stage for some of the biggest FOB fans in the country. But things weren't always sweetness and light.

When asked to share some of the shenanigans witnessed during their many years of touring before the show, lead singer Patrick Stump got right to the thorn in all traveling bands' behinds -- literally. And having been on our own Y! tour bus for a bit, the lessons learned ring all too true.

"I have to be delicate in describing: Many people don't know this, but you're not allowed to use the full capacity of the facilities, the bathroom, on a bus," cautioned Stump. Bassist Pete Wentz knowingly laughed.

Stump continued, "One time we had a makeup girl for a photo shoot, and she had to do makeup on the bus. Then she kinda hung around too long and it was weird, but the coup de grâce was that she, yeah, she left a little something in the bathroom. It was really brutal. I

  • Macklemore Flaunts His “$100 Hook-Up,” Crowd-Surfs the Badger

Forget the Gucci, Louis, Fendi, and Prada; Macklemore might just be the only hip-hop star to glorify a cheap deal for slick threads. (Warning: Video contains adult language.)

At the latest Yahoo! On the Road show with Skylar Grey and cohort Ryan Lewis, the "Thrift Shop" rapper went over his $20 budget to drop *gasp* $100 American on the "$100 Hook-Up": a ridiculous suit complete with shoes from a local mall store. Macklemore upped the ante on his ridic outfit with the addition of a fur jacket, a temporary donation from an audience member. Brand new head-to-toe ensemble, including fur? In hip-hop, that's what we call a steal.

Looks like it ain't workin' for Ms. Lauryn Hill this year. On Monday, the singer was slapped with a three-month prison sentence with a following three months on house arrest for failing to pay taxes on about $1.8 million in earnings.

Hill's lawyer conveyed that the singer had already paid in excess of $970,000 to settle her tax responsibilities, and sought probation in lieu of hard time. She was facing up to three years in prison, so three months is not as bad as it could have been.
