  • Imagine Dragons Establish Cancer Foundation for Fan

Tyler Robinson, who passed away when he was only 17, left a lasting impact on the lives of Imagine Dragons and their music. On Wednesday night during Imagine Dragons' Yahoo! On The Road tour date in St. Louis, Missouri, singer Dan Reynolds gave a heartfelt shout out to Robinson, just a day after what would've been Robinson's 18th birthday.

Many fans know of Robinson because the band has dedicated their song, "Demons," to him, but not many are aware of how the teen originally connected with the rising super stars. The musicians shared the story with Ben Lyons before their show. "We were playing a small club," said guitarist Wayne Sermon. "There happened to be this kid in the audience, Tyler Robinson, who was just a fan of the music. We found out after the show that he had been battling cancer for a while. We met with him and were instantly struck by his character."

Robinson had been diagnosed with a rare form of cancer called Rhabdomyosarcoma at 16. He spent a year undergoing treatments and one of his favorite lyrics during that period was from "It's Time," where Imagine Dragons sings that the "road to heaven runs through miles of clouded hell." The band formed a friendship with the teen and dedicated the song to him at a show.

"We stayed in constant contact with him. He came to another few shows. And all of the sudden it just struck," said Sermon. "The cancer had come back. He was in remission for a while, and within a day he was in the hospital and had passed. We wanted to use his name to spread a positive message. We felt like that was the right thing to do."

When Robinson passed away in March, Sermon said the group started the Tyler Robinson Foundation to help families with children who are battling cancer "pay for the expensive costs" associated with the treatment. At the time of his death, the band was also in the midst of editing their video for the song, "Demons," and they dedicated that song to the young fan. At the Yahoo! On the Road show, they encouraged the audience at The Pageant and watching online to donate to the newly established cancer foundation, or any other cause to help find a cure.

  • Imagine Dragons Floors, Owl City Soars in St. Louis

The "Show Me" state of Missouri showed Yahoo! On The Road an awesome time on Wednesday night by singing/screaming along to Imagine Dragons and Owl City! The purple caravan dropped in on a balmy St. Louis at the incredible Pageant theater in the Delmar Loop district -- the biggest venue on tour yet, and for good reason!

Plus, the backstage had a massive shrine of all the bras, underwear, and random sundries scrawled with frantic love messages thrown on stage over the years. Included in the Wall of Fame-Worship: An inflatable E.T. in a bike basket, a strap-on baby bump, and a full window mannequin, in a bikini of course.

  • The men of Fall Out Boy have made their triumphant return with their first album in five years Save Rock And Roll debuting at #1, kicked off a huge tour with an evolved stadium audience, and hit the exclusive Yahoo! On The Road stage for some of the biggest FOB fans in the country. But things weren't always sweetness and light.

When asked to share some of the shenanigans witnessed during their many years of touring before the show, lead singer Patrick Stump got right to the thorn in all traveling bands' behinds -- literally. And having been on our own Y! tour bus for a bit, the lessons learned ring all too true.

"I have to be delicate in describing: Many people don't know this, but you're not allowed to use the full capacity of the facilities, the bathroom, on a bus," cautioned Stump. Bassist Pete Wentz knowingly laughed.

Stump continued, "One time we had a makeup girl for a photo shoot, and she had to do makeup on the bus. Then she kinda hung around too long and it was weird, but the coup de grâce was that she, yeah, she left a little something in the bathroom. It was really brutal. I

  • Macklemore Flaunts His “$100 Hook-Up,” Crowd-Surfs the Badger

Forget the Gucci, Louis, Fendi, and Prada; Macklemore might just be the only hip-hop star to glorify a cheap deal for slick threads. (Warning: Video contains adult language.)

At the latest Yahoo! On the Road show with Skylar Grey and cohort Ryan Lewis, the "Thrift Shop" rapper went over his $20 budget to drop *gasp* $100 American on the "$100 Hook-Up": a ridiculous suit complete with shoes from a local mall store. Macklemore upped the ante on his ridic outfit with the addition of a fur jacket, a temporary donation from an audience member. Brand new head-to-toe ensemble, including fur? In hip-hop, that's what we call a steal.

  • Lauryn Hill Sentenced to 3 Months in Prison for Not Paying Taxes

Looks like it ain't workin' for Ms. Lauryn Hill this year. On Monday, the singer was slapped with a three-month prison sentence with a following three months on house arrest for failing to pay taxes on about $1.8 million in earnings.

Hill's lawyer conveyed that the singer had already paid in excess of $970,000 to settle her tax responsibilities, and sought probation in lieu of hard time. She was facing up to three years in prison, so three months is not as bad as it could have been.

  • 8 Most Memorable Male Dancers in Rock

The Rolling Stones [Photo: Kevin Mazur/WireImage]Let's face it: We can't all dance like Beyonce, or Usher, or even Britney Spears at her worst. Haven't most of us at some point in our lives tried standing in front of the mirror, scrutinizing our poorly executed excuse for *NSYNC's "Bye Bye Bye" dance? (Okay, not most, but some). But lo, there is a place where fancy choreographed dance moves are few and far between -- and when they appear, boy do they shimmer with attainability!

What is this land of democratic dance moves called? Rock 'N' Freakin' Roll [rok-uhn-free-kin-rohl] and we're all invited to get a green card.

To celebrate the kickoff of the Rolling Stones' 50 & Counting tour this week, we've pored over hours of gentlemen high kicks, splits, rubber legs, and crazy hands to pick some of the most outrageous, mimic-able, and downright awesome dance moves ever to grace a rock audience. We're not talking mere jumping around and fist-pumping, but certifiable and signature dance moves. From moving like Jagger to seizing like Yorke,

  • 5 Things That Made Us :), :D, and :’) at Coachella 2013 Sunday, Weekend 2

Red Hot Chili Peppers [Photo by Debi Del Grande]We did it kids, Coachella 2013 is a wrap! There's a certain well-deserved satisfaction that comes with deleting the Coachella app from your phone. The last night of the desert music bender didn't lose a bit of momentum despite the surely burned and beaten crowds. As myself, your faceless Weekend 2 narrator, my rubber legs were given a break once I finally figured out the golf cart situation backstage.

Weekend 2's Sunday highlights were once again Tanlines' Brooklyn beats, Tame Impala's swaying rock, La Roux's heat-seeking dance tunes, and more from the deliciously sinister Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds (accompanied by a children's chorus whom likely has no idea who he is). Everyone I saw was in top shape, surely correcting errors and adding flairs after last weekend's performances. But oh, the hologram jokes ran rampant during onstage banter. Note to Coachella 2014: It's over.

The Red Hot Chili Peppers deserve a shout-out since the usually music-discerning Coachella crowd came out in hoards to the main stage, singing along to every song. They are likely the most commercial act to ever headline the festival, and as much as I want to stick my nose up at the band as a music writer, I couldn't help but realize that I, too, knew all the words. Plus, Anthony Kiedis was wearing a hat with punk super group Off!, so that was pretty cool.

Well party people, slather on some aloe, pop some aspirin, and check out some moments that made us smile, stoked, and shed a tear of happiness at Weekend 2, Sunday!

  • 'Iron Man 3' races past $1 billion dollar mark on monster foreign take

By Todd Cunningham LOS ANGELES (TheWrap.com) - "Iron Man 3" was soaring past $1 billion at the worldwide box office Thursday, in a display of world domination that would make one of Marvel's super villains proud. The box-office bounty - roughly $700 million from abroad and $300 million domestically - is a major triumph for Disney, which bet big on comic book superheroes when it bought Marvel Studios for $4 billion in 2009. And its decision to bring aboard a Chinese partner for "Iron Man 3" and focus the Disney marketing machine on the booming foreign market looks pretty good right now, too. ...
