Arguably the oddest pair in hip-hop, South African duo Die Antwoord (Afrikaans for "The Answer") appears in fashion designer Alexander Wang's latest video for his T by Alexander Wang line. While it initially comes as a surprise that the edgy-chic young designer would collaborate with the edgy-creep rappers, but in the video they meld seamlessly. The T by Alexander Wang line consists of mostly casuals and basics like sweats and tees, so they're perfect for Die Antwoord to tag up. Fashion videos have become a seasonal staple for all clothing brands, but the clothing takes a back seat to the music in Wang's Spring 2012 video; and as a big music fan of course I love that.

Controversial chanteuse Lana Del Rey's highly anticipated album was released this week, to the cheers and jeers of the Internet at large. The Hollywood glamour girl with the sultry voice is obviously no stranger to heavy criticism and cutting speculation, and some say her profile has actually been bolstered by her very vocal detractors--a career path not unlike those of viral video sensation Rebecca Black or pop star Justin Bieber. We've heard the critics go on and on about  Lana's "dead behind the eyes" look, and we've heard the hoopla about her "Saturday Night Live" performance debacle, but now let's focus on what the big-name critics have said about the real meat-and-potatoes issue here: her actual debut album, Born To Die.

Ian Curtis must've been rolling in his grave when Disney recently debuted a T-shirt design that was "inspired" by Joy Division's iconic Unknown Pleasures album cover art. Using the gloomy '80s band's distinct Peter Saville design (which is still worn on the chests of many a hipster) as a backdrop, Disney added its own iconic Mickey Mouse-head logo to the motif, much to the disdain of some Joy Division fans.

But since the tee received widespread criticism from music fans and sites, the creators of the "Happiest Place On Earth" decided to pull the sadly ironic shirt from shelves.

Madonna is no stranger to edgy, forward-thinking looks, but the dress she wore for her "W.E." premiere in New York City last night had some people wincing.

The 53-year-old singer-writer-director-producer's tulle, lace and velvet Marchesa gown was more Morticia than Madge and clashed with her brassy blonde bob. But the outfit seemed like an homage to her iconic and oft mimicked "Like A Virgin" look that featured many-a full tulle skirts and tight lace bodices. Is Madonna's style back to its old attention-grabbing ways?

After a 19-year hiatus, beefcake actor Matthew McConaughey—a.k.a. the man comedians love to hate—has shimmied back into his tight bellbottoms, tiny tee, and creeper 'stache for Butch Walker & The Black Widows' latest music video, "Synthesizers."

...And he brought his trumpet and tiny piano with him. Wooderson does not take partying lightly.

People sure love to hate Lana Del Rey. After sustaining repeated attacks on her appearance, her questionable past, and her flimsy current identity, the retro-glamour singer and "gangsta Nancy Sinatra" was torn apart once again for her less-than-impressive performance on "Saturday Night Live" this past weekend. NBC news anchor Brian Williams called her "one of the worst [performers] in 'SNL' history," while the episode's host, Daniel Radcliffe, came to her defense. So, did "SNL" producers make a big mistake by booking Del Rey, who has yet to release her major label debut album, for such a high-profile appearance so early--or by booking her at all?

From Timberlake to timber man, baby-faced singer and actor Justin Timberlake debuted a new look for the New Year: a full beard! Fresh from his engagement to long-term girlfriend Jessica Biel, Timberlake made no hesitation to step into a more manly, mature look.

He flexed his follicular skills during a Panasonic press event to announce "Myspace TV," a social TV service that will be available during this year's Consumer Electronics Show. "The Social Network" star is currently a stakeholder in the struggling networking site and has taken on leadership roles in the company. This was his first public appearance since popping the question, but the bearded Timberlake was mum about his engagement at the event.
