Dr. Dre will probably never make another album, since he's too busy cashing the checks from his super-popular and not-inexpensive line of Beats by Dre headphones. These have single-handedly made it cool to wear large, clunky, over-the-ear headphones in public around the world, even if it's a little premature to call earbuds passe. As you can imagine from the endorsee, bass response is at a premium—but even if you're listening to trebly tunes at the lowest possible volume, these suckers will pretty much cancel out the outside world, unless you're standing inside a jet engine, in which case it might be a draw. Jim Spellman/WireImageIt's no secret singer Jennifer Hudson has lost a phenomenal amount of weight since she became a spokeswoman for Weight Watchers. While she denied reports of getting as thin as a size zero, her appearance on the red carpet last night at the "VH1 Divas Celebrates Soul" concert in New York City seemed to show otherwise.

Like a Russian doll, she looks smaller every time we see her!

By naming her debut album Mediocre, Mexican singer Ximena Sariñana seemed to have set listeners up for an uneventful 13 tracks. Lucky for her, she is so much more. The baby-faced, 26-year-old singer has impressed audiences and critics alike with her stripped-down, and at times haunting, fusion of jazz, rock, and pop. But with her second, self-titled album, she has exited  her comfort zone to produce an upbeat, English-language record.

The Pacific Northwest is a breeding ground for some of the best indie-rock and folk music out these days. And Seattle-based band Motopony, named after Blue's 1984 Honda Trail 110 scooter, certainly helps reinforce that statement. Lead by frontman Daniel Blue's twangy vocals, Motopony fuses rock with soulful folk and blues to make a delectably woodsy sound for any indie palate.

Today, Fred Perry has released the fourth and final collection designed by singer Amy Winehouse for spring 2012. The 14-piece collection features cute, clean, and classic Fred Perry pieces with some personal Winehouse touches like cropped tops and longline sweaters. Like Winehouse's fall 2011 collection for the British brand, all royalties and fees that would've gone to the singer will be donated to the Amy Winehouse Foundation in addition to the brand's vow to continue with seasonal donations.

Can you believe it? Britney Spears turns 30 years old December 2! And what better way to celebrate the all-grown-up pop icon's big birthday than to look back at some of her wildest ensembles? From bare midriffs to barely-there lingerie, Britney has rocked some of the most memorable looks in pop music during her decades-spanning career.

Sure, there's some (okay, a lot) of poking fun going on here, but I genuinely love my Brit Brit. Femme Fatale is in all honesty one of my favorite albums of the year, and this is coming from an underground music devotee. In fact,  over 14,000 photos of Britney were thoroughly sifted through by yours truly to find Britney's craziest, most iconic outfits. Is it a frying pan? Is it a new kind of teeth whitener? Something that shoots lasers? Nope, Skrillex is none of those things (well, there are certainly lasers involved). Los Angeles-based dubstep poster boy Skrillex has been making waves as dance music's underdog both with his frantic musical style and his distinct look to the thrill of many and the revulsion of others. Despite the dichotomous opinions about him, Skrillex has received not one, but FIVE Grammy nominations this year, including Best New Artist, Best Dance Recording and Best Short Form Music Video. In the end, it's hard to argue with distinguished results as Skrillex's ground-up production is believed to usher in the new rave generation.

The many faces of GagaIt's strange to think that Lady Gaga has been attending major awards shows for only three years. Her wardrobe has made more of an impact and created more of an uproar than most attendees manage in an entire career. While many other pop stars dress for attention, Gaga still is the one to beat; Nicki Minaj and Katy Perry may be coming close, but they can't compete just yet. With the 2012 Grammy nominations being announced this Wednesday (on a show featuring a live Gaga performance), we're getting a head start on the inevitable Gaga fashion mania by looking back at some of the Lady's best awards-show looks. Because let's face it: After her alien-pod arrival at the most recent Grammys, Gaga has her own huge, gravity-defying platform shoes to fill this coming year.
