    • What with all the milestones and success Kenny Chesney has achieved over the past two decades, it seems hard to believe there's one thing he hasn't tackled yet in his career.

But there is. He's doing it now, and he's just a bit overwhelmed by it.

So, what could it be? "In all the years that I've been doing this, I've never launched a tour and launched an album at basically the same time," Chesney admits--adding with a laugh, "Doing one of those things is enough!"

He's speaking the truth, and then some. His 2012 Brothers of the Sun tour, which kicks off June 2, is no ordinary tour, being his first with fellow megastar Tim McGraw in a decade. And, his new record Welcome To The Fishbowl, which hits stores just a couple weeks after the tour starts, is poised to be his biggest release yet.

The idea of handling both near-simultaneously is daunting, to say the least.  "It's been an interesting month for me," Chesney deadpans. "I love it. It's a challenge." Kenny Chesney

    • Barry Gibb Posts Moving Video Tribute To Late Brother Robin

When Bee Gees legend Robin Gibb passed away on Sunday at the age of 62 following a battle with cancer, fans and the music world were quick to express condolences--many of them directed to Robin's older brother, Barry, who is the sole living brother of the Gibb family.

Barry Gibb has finally responded--not with a formal statement, but with a tender tribute that celebrates not only Robin, but also his other late siblings Maurice (who died in 2003) and baby brother Andy (who passed at age 30 in 1988). The video he's posted on YouTube is titled "Bodding"--a family nickname for Robin--and shows amazing footage of the family growing up, as well as documentation of the various stages of the Bee Gees' record-setting career.

The moving tribute is all set to the Bee Gees ballad "Heart Like Mine." Bee Gees fans will undoubtedly delight in the vintage glimpses of the Gibbs--but just a warning: it's a tearjerker. You may need to reach for your box of tissues.

There still is no official word from

    • Miranda Lambert Defends Taylor Swift: ‘She Really Helped Country Music’

Nashville powerhouse Taylor Swift may sometimes catch flak from country fans as being more of a pop singer than anything, but one country girl who's got her back is Miranda Lambert. The currently reigning CMA and ACM female vocalist of the year defends Swift as having done nothing but help country music's image.

"Taylor Swift is a pop singer," Lambert noted in a recent interview with W Magazine. "But she really helped country music. When she hit, I was thinking, 'Thank God Taylor's out there to show people we're not cheesy.' Photo by Santiago & Mauricio, courtesy W Magazine

"Some people still think that country music is twangy and cheesy, and they pigeonhole us," she added. "But I thought, 'If they're looking for Taylor's videos or songs, they might see or hear other people they like. If her fans are watching for her, they might like me too.'"

    • Gloriana’s Sophomore Record Finally Has Release Date

Few bands have weathered as many ups and downs in a short period of time as Gloriana. The trio--which started out as a critically acclaimed quartet--scored an amazing No. 2 debut on the all-genre Billboard 200 chart with their very first album, opened for Taylor Swift on her Fearless tour, and won an ACM Award for top new vocal group. And then, they lost one of their members (Cheyenne Kimball exited the band in 2010 due to personal differences). All before their sophomore record, which fans have been patiently waiting a long time for--three years to be exact.

However--great news!--brothers Tom and Mike Gossin and Rachel Reinert are finally set to release their new album. It's titled A Thousand Miles Left Behind and the street date is July 31. The new album cover

    • Carrie Underwood And Mike Fisher Talk Babies With Oprah

It goes without saying. As soon as a famous couple--or even a non-famous one--gets married, the baby talk begins! Nashville power pair Carrie Underwood and Mike Fisher, who will celebrate their second anniversary on July 10, are certainly not immune to this phenomenon. In fact, they've pretty much fielded queries about their family-planning the minute their honeymoon ended.

Underwood's standard answer has always been that she and Fisher--the hotshot center for hockey's Nashville Predators--are too busy to even think about kids. However, the superstar singer may seem to be having a change of heart. In their first-ever joint television interview, the couple talk openly to Oprah Winfrey about the possibility of children in the future.

When asked point-blank by Winfrey if kids are on the horizon, Underwood seems to hem and haw a bit. "Soon?" she replies, but her voice is uncertain. "No."

Fisher, on the other hand, has no doubts: "Yeah, of course!"

    • When I sat down to interview family trio the McEuens about their debut record, I thought I'd break the ice with a little joke.

"So, obviously you guys have been playing together for a long time," I quipped. "Why did you decide to finally make a record?"

John McEuen stops me with a worried look on his face. "Wait a minute," he said. "You do realize these are my sons...right?"

I begin to laugh--I can't help it--and the sons in question, Jonathan and Nathan, laugh as well. Dad, realizing that he didn't get my bit of humor, sheepishly grins. The McEuens

It actually may be forgiven not to have heard of the McEuens as a unit; however, any fan of music should rightly be aware of John McEuen's illustrious career as both a founding member of the Nitty Gritty Dirt band and a solo artist. He's made over 40 records total, appeared on dozens more as a guest artist, and performed or collaborated with a dazzling list of superstars ranging from Dolly Parton to Willie Nelson to Phish to Bob Dylan to the Doors. He's also done extensive scoring for film and television, and won a Grammy for Best Bluegrass Album for his production of The Crow--New Songs for the 5-string Banjo by Steve Martin.

Donna Summer, whom millions of fans revered as "the Queen of Disco," has died at the age of 63 in Florida after a battle with cancer, the Associated Press confirmed with the singer's family Thursday morning.

    • Miranda Lambert Is Self’s Cover Girl: ‘It’s OK To Be Fat And Lazy Sometimes’

Guess who's the latest country beauty to grace the cover of Self? None other than Miranda Lambert, who--unlike many of Self's svelte cover models--is a subject sure to endear to all the "normal" chicks out there. Because, as it turns out, Lambert really is just one of the girls; with a refreshing, balanced take on health and fitness. Lambert's Self cover

First of all, Lambert isn't obsessed with having an ideal figure. In fact, she's usually happy exactly as she is. "It's OK to be fat and lazy sometimes," she tells Self, admitting that she likes her "big butt" and doesn't care about being stick-thin.

However, after having gained 10 pounds over the holidays (told you she's normal!), Lambert found she was less energetic on stage. Like many women, she turned to her husband for feedback. "I asked Blake [Shelton], 'Dude, why didn't you tell me I got fat?' He said, 'That would go over like a lead balloon. It's not my job to tell you you're fat. It's my job to tell you you're beautiful.'"
