Calfornia indie rockers the Cold War Kids have a new album coming out next month, Dear Miss Lonelyhearts--and the band's frontman Nathan Willett and bassist Matt Maust sat down with The Sidebar's Ben Lyons at 2013's South By Southwest festival to discuss their new project and the new ways they've been experiencing Austin this year. The guys also relate their earliest memories of playing SXSW, as well as their guilty musical pleasure. (Can you guess? Hint: It's not too embarrassing, but perhaps unexpected. Be sure to watch and find out!)

Ever-engaging heartthrob Josh Duhamel talks to The Sidebar's Ben Lyons at SXSW about a few of his favorite things this week. One of the best highlights of the interview? Duhamel reveals some fun--almost forgotten--moments from his up-and-coming past, and talks about beating youthful fellow thespian Ashton Kutcher in a modeling contest.
"It was one of the funniest things I've ever been through," Duhamel laughs. "We were actually very serious about it—very Zoolander and Hansel!" You gotta hear about this, trust us!
Some of his other topics: Going whole-hog in his new flick Scenic Route--which he says he had to treat like "theater," how he almost became a dentist instead of an actor, what kind of BBQ he's eating in Austin...and, of course, the biggest thing of all, impending fatherhood with wife Fergie!Read More »from Josh Duhamel Talks BBQ And Fatherhood At SXSW

Burr (bottom left) with Iron Maiden/Ironmaiden.comClive Burr, who was the former drummer for iconic metal band Iron Maiden, passed away Tuesday night at the age of 56. Burr, who had been in poor health for several years following a diagnosis of multiple sclerosis, died at home in his sleep, according to a statement posted on Iron Maiden's official site.
Burr joined the British band in 1979 after leaving former group Samson. He added a powerful element to the influential outfit's early classics, including their breakthrough album, 1982's The Number Of The Beast. In total, he contributed to that release, plus Iron Maiden's 1980 self-titled debut and 1981's Killers. He left the band right before they approached stadium-headliner status to pursue a variety of metal-related projects.
Here's five of Burr's most epic moments with Iron Maiden over his short but influential period with the band, including two official music videos ("The Number Of The Beast" and "Run To The Hills"), plus a live version of one of the two songs he co-wrote for Maiden--"Total Eclipse," which was the b-side to "Run To The Hills."Read More »from Iron Maiden’s Clive Burr Dead at 56: See His Greatest Performances

Backstreet Boy A.J. McLean just became a first-time dad in late November, but it looks as if his bandmate Nick Carter wants to make sure he won't be having any more kids.
At a recent photo shoot, the Boys were clowning around, resulting in photographer Tyler Shields capturing this clip for his YouTube channel. In it, Carter--there's no delicate way to put it--slams McLean in a very sensitive area with a baseball bat.Read More »from The Backstreet Boys Show Off A Different Kind Of Hit

Photo: NBCJustin Timberlake's new album, The 20/20 Experience, is now available to listen to in its entirety after a re-e-eally lo-o-ong wait--about seven years, to be exact. Whether you love it or think it's not worth the hype, here's something that all Timberlake fans can agree on as being pretty epic.
Timberlake appeared on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon Tuesday--as part of the talk show host's special "Timberweek"--and treated viewers to something totally unexpected. He and Fallon, along with three other buddies, dressed up in completely obnoxious striped coats and hats...dubbed themselves the "Ragtime Gals"...and belted out an old-fashioned barbershop-style rendition of "SexyBack."Read More »from Justin Timberlake And Jimmy Fallon Bring Sexy Back…To The Barbershop!
