  • Shooter Jennings Talks Why ‘Outlaw’ Is ‘Worn Out’, New Album, New Film

Shooter Jennings (Photo: Frederick M. Brown)Shooter Jennings may be known for his status spearheading all things outsider in the music world--the son of outlaw legends Waylon Jennings and Jessi Colter, he champions artists that don't fit in traditional molds, shuns the Nashville machine in favor of Los Angeles, and generally operates on his own wavelength without variation. It could be forgiven that one might assume he's somewhat prickly--or at least unpredictable--in person.

However, nothing could be further than the truth. In the flesh, he's actually an extraordinary low-key kind of guy. When Jennings arrived at Yahoo! Music for his Ram Country session, he brought nothing but his jeans-clad self and a guitar--no entourage, no special requests.

  • Pink Stops Show To Comfort Crying Child

Rocker/popster Pink may come off as one tough cookie, but it turns out the singer has an endearing soft side when it comes to her youngest fans. At her show in Philadelphia Sunday night, the singer stopped her set to comfort a little girl crying in the audience.

Pink, who was in the middle of a song, noticed the distraught child, and told her guitar player to "hold on a second."

She called out: "Is everything okay right here? Is this little girl all right?"

Turns out the child was upset by a fight in the crowd. "Y'all are fighting around a little girl?" Pink--who is the mother of a nearly 2-year-old daughter--said incredulously.

She then walked to the edge of the stage, and offered the girl a stuffed frog toy and a Rice Krispy treat, telling her "you look beautiful!" Awww.

The youngster was too shy to come up and get the goodies, but those in front handed them back to her, to much cheers from the audience. See for yourselves:

Pink is currently on her Truth About Love tour. You can

  • Bow Wow Pays Up For Possibly Most Expensive Pole Dance Ever

Bow Wow (Photo: Prince Williams)Aspiring rappers, take note: If you want to use a stripper in your videos, be sure you compensate her fairly for her art. Or you may find yourself out a few wads of cash--like Bow Wow, who was just forced to pay a French porn star nearly $80k for ripping off her work.

The lady in question, Celine Tran (who works under the name "Katsuni"), filed suit against Bow Wow last July--claiming he helped himself without permission to footage of her exotic dancing, originally featured in a video by French band the Electronic Conspiracy.

She alleged he then splashed it all over his video for "Drank In My Cup," again without asking permission.

Bow Wow's response? Silence. So, according to TMZ, a federal judge ordered him to pay Tran $79,346.07 in damages and legal fees, plus yank the footage.
