Underwood, a longtime animal activist, spoke out with disapproval regarding the "Ag Gag bill" last week--a measure that would require anyone recording images of animal abuse to submit unedited footage or photos to law enforcement within 48 hours.

In true American style, the town celebrated getting back to normal with a good ol' Red Sox baseball game--as well as a surprise performance from another national treasure, Neil Diamond.

The legendary entertainer flew into Boston and worked up the idea all of his own accord, asking if he could serenade Fenway Park with a live performance of his classic "Sweet Caroline"--which is the unofficial anthem of the team and played during every home-game eighth inning since 2002.

Willie Nelson (Photo: Rick Diamond)One of the most famous native Texans of all is stepping up to help his home state in a time of tragedy. Willie Nelson is holding a benefit to raise money for the town of West, which was devastated by a deadly explosion at a local fertilizer plant on Wednesday.

Nelson announced Friday that his April 28 show at the Backyard in Austin will now be a fundraiser for the West Volunteer Fire Department. "Anybody who can't buy a ticket can just pretend they did and send the money to the West Fire Department.," he told Texas Monthly.

While Brad Paisley's duet with LL Cool J, "Accidental Racist," has managed to spark some serious conversation about racism in America--the tune inadvertently has done a much better job of inspiring wisecracks.

The latest to hop on the "bag on Brad" train? Political satirist/comedian Stephen Colbert, who grilled the tune on his Colbert Report this week.

Calling Paisley's song a case of "unifying suckage," Colbert explained that he was inspired "to write my own awful song in the hopes of bridging another deep cultural rift in America…the gay marriage divide."

Jones, 81, was admitted to a Nashville-area facility after a routine checkup revealed he was running a slight fever with irregular blood pressure, according to a post on his official website.

While many people were quick to write off Psy as a one-hit wonder--his breakout "Gangnam Style" holds the record as the most-viewed video of all time--it appears that the South Korean rapper has the last laugh in this respect. Psy's clip for "Gentleman" is now tying the record for the fastest video to hit 100 million views.

"Gentleman," which debuted worldwide on April 13, hit that viewing milestone in a mere three days, which puts the clip neck-and-neck with the video of a meteor that hit Russia in February, according to video performance analysis blog Visible Measures.

For those who were duly impressed by the antics of "master crasher" Vitalii Sediuk--aka, the dude who managed to sneak into this year's Grammy Awards and hop on stage during Adele's trophy acceptance--better not attempt his antics. The Ukranian prankster is currently facing possible jail time as a result of his smooth moves.

The Los Angeles City Attorney has filed charges against Sediuk which could amount to six months jail time plus a $2000 cumulative fine, citing that in this age of "heightened security," anyone who crosses a line as he did will be held fully accountable for his or her actions.
