Chris Brown Sits During Frank Ocean Standing Ovation

Is Chris Brown a sore loser?

When the “Turn Up The Music” singer lost the best urban contemporary album Grammy to Frank Ocean, he applauded, but he did not join the standing ovation.

Brown’s dismissive gesture is captured on a photograph posted on Twitter by BuzzFeed.

In January, Brown and Ocean fought over a parking space at a West Hollywood recording studio. Brown was no longer on the scene when the police arrived.

The night of the incident, Ocean claimed via Twitter that Brown and associates jumped him. A week later, he explained why he would not pursue charges against Brown.

“As a child I thought if someone jumped me it would result in me murdering or mutilating a man. But as a man I am not a killer,” he wrote in a post on his Twitter page. “I’m an artist and a modern person. I’ll choose sanity. No criminal charges. No civil lawsuit. Forgiveness, albeit difficult, is wisdom. Peace, albeit trite, is what I want in my short life. Peace.”
