Awesome release/ arrangements! Worth the wait. Won't have to rush out to the store on Tuesday... just a matter of seconds in front of a computer and we get new Doobie Brothers material. Who woulda thunk? Not only are the songs great, the vocals are superb and sonically it's just awesome! A familiar producer will do that, I suppose. Thanks for the music, DB!

Good to the last track is what I say! World Gone Crazy is an ecclectic shuffle of music styles, each kissed with that signature Doobie sound. The return of Ted Templeman was a shot in the arm for this robust band of gentlemen whose golden years are about to turn platinum! I am STOKED and lovin' every song of this album! It's hot!!!!!

Has it really been 10 years! Love it. Got the nice smooth jazzy sound I enjoy. Light upbeat lyrics that make me feel good listening. "Just remember that you'll never be that far from home....spread your wings...."

Maybe because of all the publicity prior to release I was expecting something like the "old days." It is a little on the mellow side, mainly Pat's songs. Loved Old Juarez (has a Santana feel to it) and Nobody (which is a remake) sounds great. I'm sure this collection will grow on me once I get the CD and start listening to it more. Was hoping to hear more of the trademark Doobie rhythm guitar sound!

Another comment from Europe, after my 5 year old (LOL) and myself listened to the album once more: What an amazing consistency by the band (BAND). Multiple genres all executed faultlessly. Like on SR, not too much TJ 'chunka chunka' riffs (I am the greatest admirer of that trademark!) but instead lots of variety and a series of topsongs. I am not an expert but I guess Ted's mastery is audible ;-))

I have been anxiously awaiting this album...and I am excited to get my copies all on pre-order...loved the songs...the Doobs are THE best band I have ever seen and I can hardly wait to see these songs "live".

Way to go Doobs...you are America's very best rock band...

My take on the new CD is the pure love of playing music together as friends and even after 40 years, their excitement of trying to please us, their fickle but always loving fans!! What a breath of fresh air in this complicated world!!
      Thank you Doobies!

Quite a diverse album ranging from jazz, latinos, ballards, country and of course rock.
Can't wait to see them in Bristol UK end of October.
As we say in Wales a LUSH album

I've done three listen throughs now. Can't complain about anything. Songs get stronger as they progress. The music on Don't Say Goodbye (featuring Michael McDonald) is lovely and definitely reminiscent of Santana's Smooth. Willien Nelson interplays sweetly with Pat on their number. Tom just does his thing perfectly throughout. I especially like My Baby. To the guy who said it's kind of mellow. Put on a pair of headphones and listen to those songs. Major kudos to the band. I think it's the best Doobies release in over 30 years.

I love my doobies! I have been rebuilding my childhood record collection in veiw of the doobie coming here toi Spokane. I rode my bike downtown as i didnt have the cash to make the show so i listened outside. The stick in my mind songs on the new album Nobody,Law dogs, chatea, somebody i love. There all good. Johnsons voice is the paton sound of the doobie and your voice is still awsome. The songs law dogs and nobody and the slide guitar sound is probably the favorite sound that intrigues me. I am learning electric guitar to captain and me,stampeed... old classics but i cant even get on the chart with Johnsons voice. Its american classic doobies sound with simmons awsome guitar and voice too! Keep on going my doobie. Hope to actually see you for the 1st time ever in concert. What a dream!!!! Rock on down the highways guys.

Loved the chance to hear it all early as it were, someone else said this will be a grower and I believe that's a great way of describing it. Initial feelings are good and I know I'm going to be singing these like my favourites. Nice production too. Can't wait to hear them live in October in London UK.
