Every now and again we like to bring a bona fide, big time megastar into this space, and this week, we're very happy to be featuring Mr. Sir Elton John, the British artist who's sold more records than everybody else in history.
Combined!
Everybody knows his story, so we won't repeat it here. Our video--"I Guess That's Why They Call It The Blues"--is a 1983 tune that's so good it was featured in a Verizon Wireless ad last year. That's a pretty damn good song! In the vid, two young lovers are separated by the guy's military service, but then it all ends happily.
You're sure to enjoy the stunning quality of this 28-year-old video, as well as our fresh-out-of-the-oven captions, which were--as always!--written for your enjoyment specifically. Please post your most thoughtful comments, leaving us out of it, and then return here next week for video caption fun on an entirely new level!
