Framed

Kelly Clarkson, Framed

Everyone at Yahoo! Music loves Kelly Clarkson as much as you do, so it's no surprise that we've chosen the excellent video of her megawatt hit song "Never Again" for the third installment of "Framed."

"Framed," as you know, is a public service that matches the greatest frames of today's hit videos with captions that are incisive - some would say witty - and wry.  We have a couple of people in Asia who actually write the thing.

"Never Again," like her new album itself, is a statement for Kelly.  Going against the advice (demands?) of her record label, Kelly has done it her way, crafting a work that defines her as an artist and a woman.  In the video, Kelly is apparently killed (!) by her faithless lover, but then comes back to haunt him.  It's something like Topper, the classic TV show; but, unlike "Topper," there isn't a funny dog.

Some, of course, would argue that the video itself is a dog!

But not us!  Woof!

1 - Water, unlike pop music, actually finds its lowest level.

2 - But white isn't the new slimming color!

3 - It was the biggest freaking mosquito ever. Seriously.

4 - "Abracadabra!  I'm in a different video!"

5 - Clive Davis's text messages are often terse and oblique.

6 - This guy is literally taking out the garbage.  Dig it!!

7 - In the background, the sweet strains of Avril Lavigne played on.

8 - Wait... "Transparent" also isn't the new slimming color!

9 - "Palmolive: It softens your hands while you do the dishes."

10 - Hey!  Maybe Jack can return to the Island with Kelly!

11 - "I feel pretty and witty and gay..."

12 - "A queue for a Taylor Hicks album???"

13 - "You cannot PETITION THE LORD WITH PRAYER!!!"

14 - "Damn!  Bathing in dimethyl formamide is a bad idea!"

15 - "Maybe in my next video I should just try to kill Justin Guarini."
