Lovex, Framed

Here at Framed, we like bringing you the biggest stars, of course, but we also like to feature lesser-known acts of great worth. We couldn't find any this week, but we do have Lovex, a wildly entertaining band out of Finland.  (Note: Finland is in Europe, which is in Canadia.)

So who are Lovex, anyway?

Well, according to our iPal, Wikipedia, they're a bunch of Finns who - hold on, you're gonna love this - "decided to start their own band to play rock music and have fun." Wow! Just like Creed!

Well, they've since scored six Top 10 singles in Finland... no easy trick! ... and have even hit #47 in Austria with their never-to-be-forgotten/heard "Guardian Angel." Good for them!

This week's video is "U.S.A.," a perfectly winning song with lyrics like, "It's big/It's good." It's possible that there's a note of sarcasm in Lovex's attitude towards America, but - since we at Framed know nothing of sarcasm - we actually can't comment!

So enjoy these European rockers, their video, our captions, and everything else, then vow to be back next week for an even better Framed.

If such is possible!

1 - "Someone was in the kitchen with Dinah! But who?"

2 - "This show is terrific! I must visit Pixley and Crabwell Corners!"

3 - "You see, David Bowie once had a donkey. I came along 12 months later."

4 - "I'd tell you more, but I'm Finnish. Do you get it?"

5 - "Gummo has his own show now?"

6 - "This TV sucks! Speaker Boehner scarcely looks his natural orange!"

7 - "And yet - perhaps cruelly! - I wanted to be on TV!"

8 - "Even my level of fame is insufficient to peek into the storied Caption Warehouse!"

9 - "Fools! Sinestro went that way!"

10 - "I suppose it is ironic that we actively loathe every other L.A. punk band of the '80s."

11 - Glurpo still likes glam the best!

12 - "In Finland? Oh, this is average."

By Todd Cunningham LOS ANGELES (TheWrap.com) - "Iron Man 3" was soaring past $1 billion at the worldwide box office Thursday, in a display of world domination that would make one of Marvel's super villains proud. And its decision to bring aboard a Chinese partner for "Iron Man 3" and focus the Disney marketing machine on the booming foreign market looks pretty good right now, too. ...
