And Sting has, if anything, only gotten better as a solo artist. His forays into a wide variety of genres have been nothing but delightful to folks who are fans of such forays. In fact, he's won an impressive 11 Grammys since going solo.
This week's video is "Brand New Day," a song off his 1999 album of the same name. The video is a delightful satire of Sting's image, and refutes any notions that the singer is a humorless schoolmarm. So put that image out of your heads and enjoy this week's Framed--we'll see you next week!
Important blog note! We welcome all readers, old and new, to our blog every week, but these particular comments are directed at newer readers who may be wondering, "What is Framed, and why should I read it religiously?"
Our story: Framed was invented in 2007 by skilled humorists who wanted to give music fans a weekly laugh. They decided that stopping a music video in key spots to produce still pictures, and then writing funny captions to the pictures, was a surefire winner.
They were right!
Since its inception, Framed has been read by over 26.7 million people and provided laughs, guffaws, chuckles, and a deep sense of uneasiness to people all over the world. Framed is still produced fresh every week and never reuses a caption once it has been enjoyed by its readers. Except for that "out standing in his field" gag, of course.
Our promise to you is to "keep 'em comin'." And should Framed ever disappoint in any way whatsoever, your money will be cheerfully refunded by Y! Music.
We thank you for reading!
