SuperHeavy, Framed

It seemed that the days of the supergroup--the Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, or the Blind Faith--were well behind us, readers, but this week Framed welcomes a group that may be the absolute apex of supergroupdom: SuperHeavy.

This most amazing of groups, which includes Mick Jagger, Joss Stone, Dave Stewart, Damian Marley, and A.R. Rahman, first got together, it seems, back in 2009. Their goal was to "write songs which have meaning."

Since that wasn't possible--hey, look who's in it!--they went another route and, now, excitingly, their debut album is due to drop, as they say, in September. We're sure it'll be boffo, but let's look at the members of SuperHeavy to better understand their greatness!

• Mick Jagger is the lead singer for music's Rolling Stones! Kryptonite can't hurt him!

• Dave Stewart is one half of Eurythmics! Whatever!

• Joss Stone is a girl!

• Damian Marley is the son of reggae legend Bob Marley and is nicknamed "Jr. Gong!"

• A.R. Rahman is an Indian film composer, record producer, musician, singer, and noodle magnate!

Wow, they really are super! We're positive you'll enjoy their debut video, "Miracle Worker," as well as our very serviceable captions, and look forward to hearing what you think!

1 - We didn't even know Mrs. Flame-O was expecting!

2 - Hey! Keith's in the band, too!

3 - "When I agreed to the interview, I expected he'd be wearing pants!"

4 - "But what if there was a 'blogger's rate?'''

5 - "OK. So maybe acupuncture isn't the best moisturizer."

6 - "Wow! I killed somebody at Altamont, too!"

7 - "If you step on it, we may catch that moped yet."

8 - "How does everyone keep guessing my secret identity?" wondered Cleavage Girl.

9 - "But why is the racetrack so damn long? I mean, five miles? Just where is this 'Camptown?'"

10 - "I do have a pulse! Not like everybody says!"

11 - "He ain't super heavy... he's my super brother."

12 - "Hello, Delhi! Well, hello, Delhi!"

  • 'Iron Man 3' races past $1 billion dollar mark on monster foreign take

By Todd Cunningham LOS ANGELES (TheWrap.com) - "Iron Man 3" was soaring past $1 billion at the worldwide box office Thursday, in a display of world domination that would make one of Marvel's super villains proud. And its decision to bring aboard a Chinese partner for "Iron Man 3" and focus the Disney marketing machine on the booming foreign market looks pretty good right now, too. ...
