What happened to the days when rappers let their battle lyrics do the talking? I'm a writer and I'm getting tired of reading all the back and forth explanations in the media. Watch as Soren Baker and I sift through the drama that is the Common and Drake feud, arguably one of hip-hop's most uninteresting diss wars to date.

Though we just honored Jay-Z in December with a Parent's Just Don't Understand award in our year-end recap, we extend to him even more props for his song "Glory" that celebrates the birth of Blue Ivy, his and Beyonce's new baby girl.

We also consider the significance of Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg's headline booking at this year's Coachella event? Does playing such a major festival hint that Dr. Dre's long awaited "Detox" album might actually hit the streets this century?

Plus, we pose some good questions. Why does Amber Rose have a song? How do you pronounce the name of Dres and Jarobi's new group Evitan? And what old school rap video does Chiddy Bang remake in their latest release, "Ray Charles"?
