Las Vegas rapper Dizzy Wright, one of the MCs on the esteemed 2013 XXL Freshman Cover, offered a bit of insight into his lyrical genius when he visited Yahoo! Music for an interview with The Aftermath, the best music discussion on the 'net.
He remade Nas’s “One Mic” as “One Life” because “I can’t be nobody but me,” he said. The diehard Bone fan transformed “Budsmokers Only” to “Flashy Inc Only” to pay homage to his crew. But his take on Tupac's “Letter To My Unborn Child” is arguably the most sentimental, as he wrote it while his daughter was still in the womb. “I wanted to talk to her before she even got here,” he said.
