The Aftermath: Is Kesha The Black Man’s Kryptonite? Ask Lil Wayne, T.I.

Ke$ha raps, but she is by no means considered a good rapper. But her lack of lyrical skills didn't stop her from lining up some of the most respected MCs in the game to guest on her song "Sleazy" Remix 2.0. Lil Wayne, Andre 3000, T.I. and Wiz Khalifa not only contribute verses to the song, but they have all stepped up their games.

Did these rappers give their best work to Ke$ha in hopes of tapping into her party girl pop market? Damn right they did. Soren Baker and I break this down in the latest segment of The Aftermath, the best music discussion on the Net.

I reviewed Jay-Z and Kanye West's Monday night "Watch The Throne" stop in Los Angeles. The show was so dope that I gave Kanye West a pass for wearing a skirt and matching leggings for the majority of the show. But Soren gives Mr. West no slack on his ladylike attire.

The Aftermath does acknowledge Lil Wayne's hustle that has generated $46 million from his domestic tour dates alone.

In the speed round, we congratulate Mystikal on securing a spot on the Cash Money roster and Wu Tang Clan and Odd Future for being announced as the co-headliners of the April 2012 Paid Dues Festival. We close on a sad note, sending our condolences to the family and friends of Karryl "Special One" Smith, one half of the Bay Area female rap duo, The Conscious Daughters, who released the 1993 hit, "Something To Ride To (Fonky Expedition)." See info on Special One's memorial fund below.
