"Empires," from Benny's recently released EP "Angel Dust," sets the tone with its moody, throbbing bass line, harmonic layered backing vocals and slow motion pacing of the track he produced.

Benny uses metaphors to describe his and Ms. Wrong's efforts to construct a solid foundation: "We built these walls with bricks and wire. We raised these trees. They still grow higher. … We wrote these rules in blood red ink. We loved like fools … We built this empire."

Benny can't get over the fact that things fell apart despite their efforts, singing, "We killed this empire … and now its just dust."

Day One of Rihanna's 777 Tour was as close to perfect as it could possibly get. The 150 journalists from 82 countries, and contest winners, were treated like royalty.

We flew in a jet Rihanna chartered, received in our seats a 777 Tour bag of gifts, sipped champagne she personally poured into our cups, received top-notch service from a hand-picked elite group of flight attendants, and traveled to Mexico City to watch the hottest, sexiest female pop star perform the top-selling downloads of the last five years.

If Rihanna had sent us back home the next day, her status of pop goddess would have never been tarnished in some of our eyes. But instead Rihanna agreed to keep the party going for six more days.

Rihanna is having some fun, mixing things up for her 777 Tour that his touching down in seven countries in seven days. Since the beginning of the tour which opened in Mexico City Wednesday, Rihanna has been performing a special live version of her song "What's My Name," a collaboration with Drake.

"We just jamming out in rehearsal to 'Rack City,'" Blackstone told Yahoo! Music Saturday while en route to Paris on the private 777 Tour twinjet. "We thought of some things to kinda switch it up. We had been doing it the same way for a little bit."

Years of standing outside of venues to get a glimpse of Rihanna has paid off for a group of her New York fans.

The pop singer invited Tamara Wray, Janise Williams and two of their other friends to join her on her global 777 Tour that kicked off in Mexico City Wednesday and passes through a total of seven countries in seven days all in support of her seventh album, "Unapologetic."

Wray, 21, said she cried when she received an email inviting her to join the tour. "I was just so excited, I just couldn't believe I was going to all these countries," Wray told Yahoo! Music.
