By Billy Johnson, Jr. | Hip-Hop Media Training – Wed, Aug 15, 2012 7:54 PM EDTRihanna shed her tough girl exterior when discussing ex-boyfriend Chris Brown during an interview with Oprah Winfrey on her television show "Oprah's Next Chapter." The pop star's eyes were welled with tears as she described having conflicting feelings about Brown after he assaulted her in 2009.
"I lost my best friend," Rihanna explained during the emotional conservation filmed in her home country of Barbados. "Like everything I knew was switched. Switched in a night. Brandy And Chris Brown’s ‘Put It Down’ Song And Video Are Just OK
By Billy Johnson, Jr. | Hip-Hop Media Training – Wed, Aug 15, 2012 5:15 PM EDTBrandy plus Chris Brown plus "A Milli" producer Bangladesh sounds like about the best formula an R&B pop girl could get for a comeback record. Brandy is looking good and appears to have found her comfort zone when dancing in the "Put It Down" video. When she made a similar attempt in 2004 with the Kanye West-produced "Talk About Our Love" (ironically, one of my favorite Brandy songs), the choreography and blonde hair felt too influenced by Beyonce.

The West Coast vets sometimes get pegged as gangsta rappers, so listeners will be surprised by the record. "It's a representation of what you wouldn't expect," they said.
Krondon and Phil also give the background on teaming up with Statik Selektah, who produced the entire album. Originally, Statik was only going to work on one song, but the initial results were so good that they decided to do an entire album.
