"Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded" coverI can't blame Nicki Minaj for allowing the success of her highly successful debut, "Pink Friday," inspire the direction of her sophomore set, "Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded," but the Young Money rapper-turnt-singer went overboard.
Though more than half of the 13 songs on her 2010 debut served as official or underground singles, her break through pop hit "Super Bass" is the one that set her apart from other female MCs, earning her props from Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez, justification for touring with Britney Spears, triple platinum certification and Super Bowl and feature alignments with Madonna.Read More »from Nicki Minaj Mistakenly Abandons Rap For Pop On ‘Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded’

OMGIce Cube's son, OMG, recently released a mixtape, "Jackin' For Beats: The Mixtape." The 11-track set includes covers of Meek Mill's "Welcome to My House Party," Waka Flocka's "No Hands," Bun B's "You're Everything," Drake's "The Motto" and other recent hits.
OMG sounds like early Cube, sharing his father's tone, enunciation and humor.
It's difficult for rich kids to convincingly sell gangsta rap's image of hard times. Instead of reminiscing about hardships, OMG disses auto-rap singers and boasts about his rap skills, lineage and girls, and it works.Read More »from Ice Cube’s Son OMG Releases ‘Jackin’ For Beats’ Mixtape

On Friday, Chops & Hops restaurant in Watkinsville, Ga made the pop singers an item on its weekly celebrity-themed special of the day. Their burger is called the Caribbean Black and Bleu Sandwich.
In a posting on the Chops & Hops Facebook and Twitter pages, executive chef and owner Richard Miley, makes a correlation to the sandwich and Brown's 2009 assault on Rihanna: "Chris Brown won't beat you up for eating this unless your name starts with a R and end with A."
The sandwich prompted coverage from major news outlets and received mixed reaction online.Read More »from Rihanna And Chris Brown Incident Inspires ‘Caribbean Black And Bleu’ Sandwich

"Boyfriend," the first single from Bieber's new album, "Believe," is a departure from his tween pop hits "Baby," "Somebody To Love" and "Never Say Never."
The collaboration with Mike Posner actually sounds like a slower version of Justin Timberlake's "Like I Love You," his 2002, post-N'Sync solo debut.Read More »from Justin Bieber’s ‘Boyfriend’ Single Reminiscent Of Justin Timberlake Post-N’Sync Debut
