During a recent interview on New Orleans radio station Q93.3, the Maybach Music Group rapper said his lyrics were misinterpreted.
“I want to make sure this is clear,” Ross said in the interview posted on Funk Master Flex's blog. “That woman is the most precious gift known to man. It was a misunderstanding with a lyric, a misinterpretation where the term rape wasn’t used.”
Ross continued, “I would never use the term rape in my records. As far as my camp, hip-hop don’t condone that. The streets don’t condone that. Nobody condones that.”
He said he wanted to reply to his female fans that had expressed their concerns. “I just wanted to reach out to all the queens that are on my timeline and all the sexy ladies, the beautiful ladies that had been reaching out to me with the misunderstanding,” he said. “We don’t condone rape and I’m not with that.”

Bobby Brown is suing the National Enquirer for reporting that he and Whitney Houston planned to get remarried, the New York Daily news reports.
The “My Prerogative” singer filed the $1 million lawsuit Monday in Manhattan Federal Court, citing the March 26, 2012 article in which the allegations were made. At the time, Brown was engaged to Alicia Etheredge, who he married last June.

Beyoncé is using her song “Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It)” to weigh in on the gay marriage debate.
The singer stressed her support of same sex marriage Tuesday in a post on her Instagram page. Amending a lyric from the 2008 song, Beyoncé wrote, “If you like it you should be able to put a ring on it.” She concluded the handwritten note with the hashtag, #WeWillUnite4MarriageEquality! The post has received more than 200,000 likes.
