Beyoncé is using her song “Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It)” to weigh in on the gay marriage debate.

The singer stressed her support of same sex marriage Tuesday in a post on her Instagram page. Amending a lyric from the 2008 song, Beyoncé wrote, “If you like it you should be able to put a ring on it.” She concluded the handwritten note with the hashtag, #WeWillUnite4MarriageEquality! The post has received more than 200,000 likes.

In many ways, Snoop Lion is the antithesis to Snoop Dogg. The Reincarnated rapper’s new song “No Guns Allowed” featuring his daughter Cori B and Drake counters his 1992 debut on Dr. Dre’s “Deep Cover” where he boasts, “I got the gauge, a uzi and the motherf—king 22.”

The release from his forthcoming reggae album offers a message of non violence.

Have rival “American Idol” judges Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj sparked a new competition this week? They have released new music videos a day apart. On Friday, Mariah premiered her music video for “Almost Home,” a power ballad for the soundtrack for the Disney film Oz: The Great And Powerful. A day earlier, Nicki and French Montana released the clip for their collaboration, “Freaks.”

In Mariah’s “Almost Home” visual, the “We Belong Together” singer adopts an elegant classy look, dressed in a sleeveless, floor-length black gown for her performance shots that are spliced with clips from the film starring James Franco, Mila Kunis, and Michelle Williams.

Vernon Reid, Living Colour founder and guitarist, believes Prince needs to pay for breaking a guitar on “Late Night With Jimmy Fallon” last Friday.

After performing his song “Bambi,” the rock and soul legend tossed the rare 1961 Epiphone Crestwood guitar about 10 feet into the air, breaking it.

There’s one major problem. The guitar was reportedly a loaner from Captain Kirk Douglas from The Roots, Fallon’s house band.
