  • Diddy is a member of a new group, Dirty Money, which includeshimself, Dawn from Danity Kane, and singer-songwriter Kaleena. They justreleased the first single from their album, "Last Train To Paris," due out inMarch 2010.

    The video "Angles" features vocals from the late NotoriousB.I.G. Diddy is known for making party records, but this track isn't thebubbling, dance floor anthem he normally makes.

    "Angels" is more about the mood and groove. The soft drumtaps, humming baseline, and infrequent piano keystrokes are coupled withDiddy's Auto-Tune singing, and accentuated background vocals from Dawn andKaleena. Biggie's sharp, quick-witted raps are the icing.

    It feels more like early '90s British soul or even Madonna's"Justify My Love" than Diddy's last solo album hit "Last Night," featuringKeyshia Cole.

  • In real life T-Pain couldn't possiblyneed more money. He has written and produced platinum records for himself andsome of the biggest names in the music business, Chris Brown, Kanye West, andLil' Wayne.

    But he takes on a different persona next month when he makeshis first prime time appearance in an acting role on new Fox series "Brothers." While T-Pain willportray himself, his character will be "financially strapped."

    In his role T-Pain will have an exchange with "Brothers'"cast members Mike (Michael Strahan) and Chill (Daryl Chill Mitchell) atTrainor's, the family's restaurant. The episode will air Friday, October 9 at 8p.m.

    T-Pain's other acting credit includes the role of Frylock inthe Adult Swim animated series "Aqua Teen Hunger Force."

    When closing out her Friday tour stop at the AcerArena in Sydney, Australia, Beyoncé dedicated hersong "Halo" to a young girl battling leukemia.

    For the first run through of the song that pays homage to apersonal hero, Beyoncé acknowledged Michael Jackson, as shehas done at previous concerts.

    Afterwards, Beyoncé invited a young girl named Chelsea on stage, kneltbeside her and asked if it was okay to sing her a song.

    Beyoncé sang "Halo" while hugging Chelsea, and looked her eyes as she sang "I got my angelnow," before resting her head on Chelsea'schest. She also added the child's name to the lyric, "[Chelsea] I can see your halo, you know you'remy saving grace."

    "There was not a dry eye in the house," Sydney's TheDaily Telegraph reported about the 14,000 member audience.

  • Taylor Swift's dad is glad he did not attend Sunday's MTVVideo Music Awards with his daughter, who was humiliated when Kanye West rushedthe stage to protest her win of the Best Female Video honor, the Reading Eaglereports.

    Scott Swift told his family's hometown newspaper that he wasnot sure how he would have responded to Kanye.

    Scott did know that he was impressed with how his 19-year-olddaughter handled the ordeal, especially since she had to perform live justminutes later.

    As he watched the incident on TV, he hoped she would beokay.

    "You've been through a lot, Taylor, so how are you going toget through this one?" Scott recalled thinking.

    Scott was pleased, watching her sing her VMA winning song"You Belong With Me" atop of a taxi outside of event venue Radio City Music Hall.

    "She was pretty upset, but she pulled it off," Scott said. "Taylor proved once againthat she was able to turn it around."
