Apparently, LMFAOmembers Sky Blu and Redfoo were envious of the teen stars of the classic '80s John Hughesfilm "Weird Science."They take on similar personas in their new hip-hop music video for their song "La La La."

Like "Weird Science"'s lead characters played by Anthony MichaelHall and Ilan Mitchell-Smith,Sky Blu and Redfoo create their own fantasy computer generated women.

The extended intro for LMFAO's "La La La" videoborrows several visuals from the 1985 film. The Hollywood MCs feed photos of their ideal women into thecomputer and watch as the formation takes place. "La La La" uses similar specialeffects, even modeling the band logo after the Science logo used in the film.

In "Weird Science," the digital girl played by Kelly LeBrockcomes to life. In LMFAO's video, when their virtual video vixens (the ParadisoGirls) materialize, the fellas join them in cyberspace.

Maxwell'sJuly No. 1 debut, "BLACKsummer'snight," proved that the slick R&B singerdidn't lose any edge when he shavedoff his signature curly afro for a more conservative cropped cut. He soldmore than 300,000 copies that week. That's pretty good, especially during atime when record sales are low.

But in case there are still any naysayers lingering around,doubting that the "Pretty Wings" crooner is any less appealing to his adoringfemale fans, Maxwell gets racy in the video for his second single "BadHabits."

In the director's cut, a married Maxwell attempts to resistthe temptation of an ex, portrayed by "Ray" actress KerryWashington. Though the red light and mirror effects tone down some of thevideo's steamier moments, "Bad Habits" is still by far Maxwell's most risquéclip to date.

Shots of Kerry's character removing Maxwell's wedding ringand the following bedroom sequence is almost on par with Usher's "TradingPlaces" video.

Props to Nike for using Ice Cube and his song "It Was AGood Day" for the new commercial for the Zoom Air Paul Rodriguez III.

The commercial is shot like Rodriguez's take on the classic Ice Cubevideo. For Rodriguez, the day not only includes skateboarding without beingstopped by the cops, but it also includes chance meetings with Kobe Bryant andIce Cube. Paul is met with a bit of bad luck in the video. Watch the clip tofind out what happens.

Rodriguez is a professional skateboarder, actor and son ofcomedian Paul Rodriguez.

"It Was A Good Day" is from Ice Cube's third solo album, "ThePredator." The song reached No. 7 on Billboard's Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songschart.

The Los Angeles Superior Court Judge who is set to formallysentence Chris Brown for his felony assault on his ex-girlfriend Rihannaapparently wants him to learn a good lesson.

Judge Patricia Schnegg was scheduled to sentence ChrisWednesday, but delayedthe process until August 27, Reutersreported. Schnegg wants to make sure that Chris' punishment includes communitylabor like roadside cleanup as specified in the pleadeal arranged in June. She is awaiting a community labor proposal from Virginia, Chris' home state.

Chris has been working to divert the media attention back tohis music. On Sunday, he made his firstperformance appearance since the Rihanna assault. During a tour stop inVirginia, Lil' Wayneinvited Chris to fill in for Drake, who was recovering from a bad fall he had taken at a previous concert.

Chris joined Wayneon stage to perform Drake's "Best I Ever Hard." Chris also danced to MichaelJackson's "Billie Jean" and received a positive response from the audience.
