  • Wednesday night pop singer Cassie joined the club, the onethat includes celebs with nude (full or partially) photos/videos leaked on the internet.

While it is surprising to see her topless in her self-photographedpictures posted on RapRadar.com, her nonchalant reaction is equally as interesting.

She dismissed being exposed as no big deal Wednesday in an11 p.m. PST message on her Twitter page.

"IT SEEMS THAT SOMEONE HAS HACKEDINTO MY COMPUTER," Cassie tweeted. "THAT'S REAL FOUL AND EVIL. NOW STOP ACTINGLIKE YOU HAVEN'T SEEN A [BREAST] BEFORE."

Several hours later, Cassie explained that the photos werenever meant to be released publicly. "These photos were obviously neverintended for the world to see," Cassie said in a statement on her website,lovecassie.com. "[I]t's sad that people would really take time to steal andpost them, it's just evil."

Her note also implied that people are overreacting to seeingher undressed. "Mine weren't the first you've seen and they won't be the last,"she

  • I dismissed blog claims that Nas and Kelis were introuble. You know how it goes in the blog reporting world. If Celebrity SpouseA is seen in public without Celebrity Spouse B, or worse, with a member of theopposite sex, they are having problems.

    But it has been confirmed.

My favorite hip-hop couple, critically-acclaimed and Grammynominated artists Nas and Kelis are in the process of parting ways.

Thursday Kelis officially filed for a divorce from herhusband of five years and nine months. "I can confirm that she has filed fordivorce," a spokesperson for Kelis told VIBE. "We request the media to respecther privacy during this very difficult time."

According to the petition for dissolution of marriagedocument, obtained by Vibe.com, Nas and Kelis wed on July 28, 2003.

Kelis, who is seven months pregnant, is rumored to beunhappy with Nas' "verbally abusive and cheating ways" reports RapRadar.com.

Ironically, Nas didn't express any indication that themarriage was experiencing problems last

  • I never run out of Beyonce jokes. But I honestly never haveanything bad to say about her singing. I think she has one of the nicest voicesin pop music today.

Yes, she over sings a lot, just like Mariah, Christina andWhitney.  Well, Whitney, before all the...youknow.

But Beyonce is a legitimate talent.

So when I heard about the Howard Stern segment Tuesday thatsuggested that Beyonce's unedited vocals from a Today Show performance last November sounded like garbage, I wassuspicious.

When listening to the clip of Beyonce singing "If I Were ABoy," I heard cracked notes and other examples of vocal struggling that soundedembarrassing. But the track also felt digitally altered, and I'm not talkingabout good Auto-Tune, if there is such a thing.

Wednesday, E! News revealed that the entire story was a hoax and even found the person who edited the track to sound as if Beyonce could not sing.

A sourced named Matt from an upstart blog admitted that the Beyonce vocals were a joke. "Yes I created

  • Not too many hip-hop artists can boast being in the game for more than 15 years. And of those still around, even fewer exude style and finesse comparableto their seminal work. Though I'm way late on this one (props to 2dopeboyz.com, thanks for the photo Meka), I need to shout out myBay Area brethren Souls Of Mischief who kick off their new EP Montezuma'sRevenge with "Tour Stories."

With Domino on the beat and Prince Paul on production, the hummingjazz-laced track is as mesmerizing as their classic "'93 'til Infinity." Whiletheir contemporaries measure their success by units sold, fame and riches, theSouls lend deeper perspective.

Their narratives about the "pandemonium" they experience in each cityvisited and the dream realized speaks volumes to their appreciation of theirartistry. It is echoed in part of the chorus: "We used to dream about this, never thought it would be real, now we on planes, trains and automobiles."

But it is part of the last verse that really puts things

  • I'm glad that Jamie Foxx apologized for the things he saidabout Miley Cyrus Sunday on his Foxxhole show on SIRIUS XM Radio.

During a discussion about Cyrus proclaiming to ruinRadiohead because the group did not want to meet her at the Grammy awards, Foxx, in trademark comedianstyle, began making hardcore jokes about the teen star.

As his co-hosts chimed in, the Oscar award winning starwhose song "Blame It" is No. 1 at Urban radio said that Cyrus needed to grow upand make a sex tape. He said he hoped she catches a STD and suggested that she follow thedownward path of Lindsay Lohan.

Clips of Foxx's rant sparked a wild fire on the Internet.

A remorseful Foxx apologized Tuesday when making anappearance on The Tonight Show With JayLeno.

"I just want to say, 'I apologize for what I said and Ididn't mean it maliciously,'" Foxx told Leno about the star whose movie Hannah Montana: The Movie opened at No. 1 in the theaters last weekend.

Foxx, who has a teenage daughter himself, joked that he

  • I read Kanye's personal blog response to Wednesday's South Park Fishstick episode before Iwatched the show.

Characterizing Kanye as a gay fish on the edgy animatedcomedy hurt his feelings.

Unlike his usual egotistical rants, this post overflows withhumility.

"SOUTH PARKMURDERED ME LAST NIGHT AND IT'S PRETTY FUNNY," he writes Thursday in histrademark all capital letters. "IT HURTS MY FEELINGS BUT WHAT CAN YOU EXPECTFROM SOUTH PARK!"

I immediately dismissed Kanye's reply as sarcasm. I figuredhe was for once trying reverse psychology, figuring that he would resistfeeding into yet another round of media drama.

Then I watched the South Parkepisode.

    Wow.

I generally feel that Kanye provokes the negativity he oftenreceives from the media. But the South Parkepisode crosses the line. I imagine regular South Parkviewers will argue that this episode was no different than what regularlyhappens on the show so Kanye should not be upset. But I disagree.

Any public scrutiny over his award show

  • Eminen's new video "We Made You" mocks women who havedominated the news in the last year. Set up as a spoof of the Bret Michaels reality show Rock Of Love, Em pokes fun of Britney Spears, LindsayLohan, Kim Kardashian, Jessica Simpson, Jennifer Aniston, Amy Winehouse, EllenDeGeneres and Sarah Palin.

Though critics can find fault with all of the portrayals, The O'Reilly Factor host Bill O'Reillydefends just one of the women-Sarah Palin, the Alaska Governor who was the 2008Republican vice presidential candidate.

O'Reilly, a longtime hip-hop antagonist, calls Eminem'sdepiction of Palin crude. A Palin lookalike dressed in a low cut bustier andbusiness suit sits atop of an office desk, flirting with a shirtless Eminemposing as Palin's husband.

O'Reilly is upset the media has not condemned Em for thevideo. "Eminem is obviously on an obscene rant about Sarah Palin," O'Reillysays in Wednesday's broadcast. "Totally obscene. Totally inappropriate. Nothinggood about it."

    O'Reilly feels that

  • There is confusion regarding which artists recorded theChris Brown diss track "My Flow So Tight." Last week the song was widelyreported to have been made by a rap group named Smoke Jumpers.

While this report was accurate, it sparked a two foldproblem.

Two rap groups have been performing under the Smoke Jumpersmoniker. There is a five-man Chicago rap group, and a four-man garage hip-hop collective from Austin.

As the song with lyrics advocating that pop singer ChrisBrown be beat up for his alleged attack on Rihanna quickly spread across theinternet and traditional radio outlets, listeners sought out both acts.

This was good news for the four man Chicago outfit that is actually responsiblefor the track.

But it was possibly inadvertently even better news for the Austin act that benefitedfrom the free publicity.

WildCard, a member of the Austin group, noticed mid last week that the songplays on its MySpace page increased significantly and he could not attribute thespiked activity to any

  • Chris Brown plead not guilty Monday tofelony charges that he attacked and threatened his pop stargirlfriend, AP reports.

Brown has only made one public statement since the February8 incident that left Rihanna battered and bruised. Then, Brown only said he was"saddened" by what had transpired and was seeking the counseling of his pastorand mother.

If Brown is convicted of the felony charges he could facethe likes of probation or up to five years in jail.

An up andcoming rap group has a different opinion about Brown's innocence.

The Jump Smokers has recorded an electronic hip-hop record"My Flow So Tight" that suggests that Brown himself deserves to be beaten. Thesong's chorus is simple and matter of fact: "My flow so tight and the beat sosick Chris Brown should get his a- kicked."

Last week 15 rhythmic, CHR and rap radio stations in citiessuch as Los Angeles, Sacramento, New York and Houston have played the dissrecord.

The lyrics stay on topic, arguing that a boy who hits a girlshould
