‘Basketball Wives’ Evelyn Lozada Says Chad Ochocinco Gave Her Engagement Ring While Playing ‘Call Of Duty’

There's just one thing out of place — the actual proposal.

According to Lozada, who recently released the book, "Inner Circle," on the Lil Wayne and Brian "Birdman" Williams-related imprint Cash Money Content, Johnson never got down on one knee, or even formally asked her to marry him.

EVELYN LOZADA DISCUSSES CHAD OCHOCINCO'S ENGAGEMENT AT 11:28 MARK:

http://media.zenfs.com/en/blogs/ymusic-hip-hop-media-training/AftermathLogo_3.jpg"My proposal, it really wasn't that romantic," Lozada said during an exclusive interview with Yahoo! Music's The Aftermath. "He told me that the jeweler was coming to the house, so I thought he was going to buy watches. I didn't know we were going to get engaged. Jason from Beverly Hills gets to the house. He pulls out some rings. … Chad has his headset on 'cause he likes playing 'Call Of Duty,' 'FIFA,' all of that stuff. He was like, 'Which one do you like?' I'm like, 'I don't know. This one.' It was in a separate box. I picked that one. Put it on. He goes, 'Alright, so we're engaged.'"

Afterward, Lozada said Johnson resumed killing people on 'Call Of Duty.' "I'll never forget this as long as I live," she said with a laugh.

Inner Circle (Wives Association)Lozada, who was in a 10-year relationship with the recently retired NBA star Antione Walker,  said being a stepmother to Johnson's daughters helped her realize that her angry, combative "Basketball Wives" persona needed a makeover. On the show, she's never turned turned down an opportunity to fight and has been called a bully. She has climbed over a conference room table to attack a castmate, thrown a bottle of wine at another, and been in too numerous profanity-laden shouting matches.

"My stepdaughters, who are very young, they are like 9 and 8, we were in the car, they knew word-for-word what I said, what I did," she said. "They're like little sponges. It forces me to say, 'Well, what was I looking at when I was at that age?' … Am I going to change who I am? No. But am I going to throw a bottle at you? I'm never gonna do that."

Lozada said she regrets glorifying fighting on television. "It was embarrassing, having these little girls thinking this was so great," she said. "I had a little chat with them."

Lozada said she doesn't pull any punches, however, in Inner Circle (Wives Association)" co-authored with "Law and Order" writer Courtney Parker. "It's fiction," she said. "Kinda a lot of stories in there are things that happened to me."

In a separate The Aftermath segment, Lozada talked music and listed three of her favorite recording artists, Rihanna, Marc Anthony and Jennifer Lopez.
