Though the 30-year-old artist has been performing around the world since she was a teenager, she admits to feeling uneasy about the Revel dates. "I feel a little nervous," she said in a promotional video showing her preparation for the concerts. "I'm enjoying being a mother and this is like going back to my old job. It is a little strange but it's important that you don't lose yourself and still have your own passions. And I'm back to work. I'm back to business."

During a production meeting, Beyonce says she wants to connect with the audience. "What I'm trying to say at this show is, 'Yes, I had a baby, but [this] just made me even more grounded and more like you.'"

The video captures Beyonce in sessions for choreography, stage design and musical arrangement. The latter includes an acoustic run of her hit "Halo."
