Chris Brown’s love interest in his new video “Fine China” resembles his ex-girlfriend Karrueche Tran.
In the video for the song released Monday, Brown’s girlfriend is being pressured to break up with him. The leader of a group called the Triad, her father calls the pop star an outsider and a thug and reminds his daughter that she has to abide by the organization’s code.
Despite the pressure from her parents, she goes out dancing with Brown. At the end of the night, her father and a group of gunman surround them and demand that Brown stops seeing her.
“You could have avoided this,” her father says to the bow tie-clad Brown. He replies, “You caused all of this. You don’t want to see her happy.” She tells Brown that she doesn’t want to see him get hurt and leaves with her father before a gun faceoff ensues between the Triads and Brown’s crew.
“Fine China” is the first single from Brown’s sixth album, X, due out late summer.
