Ester DeanEster Dean doesn't want to jinx herself, so she's not yet ready to reveal the title of her forthcoming solo album that's 13 songs deep. But in part three of her four-part interview with Yahoo! Music, she does offer insight on some of her songs.

Ester likes to write from perspectives not typically taken on records. Ester has written about being the other woman, and she has also sung about being committed in a relationship even when the emotion is not reciprocated. She jokes about the real meaning behind Whitney Houston's "Saving All My Love For You."

Ester describes a bit of her writing process when explaining working with Nicki Minaj on their collab, "Super Bass."

Ester is also expanding her career beyond music. In part-four, she talks about her movie roles in "Ice Age" and "Pitch Perfect."
