Lil Wayne Nominated For Every BET Hip Hop Award Possible

It's shame Lil Wayne isn't a DJ, video director, producer, rookie, or have his own hip hop online site. He could have easily shut downevery category for the BET Hip Hop Awards.

As it stands, the "How To Love" rapper competes in almostevery area applicable, except for the "CD Of The Year" honor. But there's noarguing there. His post jail release "I Am Not A Human Being" wasn't among lastyear's strongest sets.

What saved Wayne, though, is likely the same thing thathelped his latest album, "The Carter IV," sell nearly 1 million copies when itdebuted last week -- he's the most accessible and best featured artist.

The bulk of Wayne's 18 BET nods are for his features onsongs by Chris Brown ("Look At Me Know"), DJ Khaled ("I'm On One"), KellyRowland ("Motivation"), and Ace Hood ("Hustle Hard" Remix).

These songs help Wayne receive two or more nominations inseveral categories, Best Hip Hop Video, Reese's Perfect Combo Award (BestCollab), Track Of The Year, Verizon People's Champ Award, Best Club Banger, andSweet 16: Best Featured Verse.

Only one of Wayne's own songs ("6 Foot 7 Foot") has beennominated. With this said, Nicki Minaj, Kanye West, Wiz Khalia, and Rick Rossare no competition against Wayne for the MVP Of The Year award. We'll see whenthe event airs on October 11 at 8/7 p.m. C on BET.

Otherwise, Kanye, Nicki, Wiz, and Rick Ross are amongother top nominees.
